ZKK Serial Wide Deck Constrained Synchronous Linear Vibrating Screen is
mainly used in coal preparation, ore preparation, power ect. industry. This kind
of screen is used for the classification of medium and fine size materials and
dewatering, demediumizing, desliming. Meanwhile the screen can be used for
the classification of dry and wet materials.

3.1 Structure

3.2 Working Principle

Working principle of main parts of 2ZKK4285 Wide Deck Construction

Synchronous Linear Vibrating Screen is: as a vibrating source, vibrator is

installed on the installing beam of vibrating case , after material enters the screen,

it is vibrating mass along with screen case. Under the support of buffering spring,

all of which forms whole vibrating system, two axises of vibrator are installed

with eccentric blocks of same weight respectively. Under support of two sets of

bearings, force transmitted by motor driving unit runs the drive shaft. With a pair

of bevel gear driving in the middle, the eccentric block rotates in opposition. The

centrifugal force will be doubled and offset alternatively. When vibrating force is

doubled, the vibrating mass will reciprocate along linear locus.

4 Transportation And Storage

Disassembly the machine before shipment. Detailed package should be

determined by shipment requirement and destination. Following documents

should be attached in the package case:

In storage, screen main body is required to be no less than 200mm away

from ground to avoid dampness. In more than a month opening storage,

remove ventilation plug of exciter and replace with screw plug and comply

with the followings:

A. All the unpainted and machined surface should be covered with protective

coatings and be painted again if necessary to protect parts from corrosiveness

and rust.

B. At least once a week, shaft of vibrator should be revolved to avoid

possible corrosiveness and damages.

C. Every 3 months, lubricant in the vibrator should be checked. Once

lubricant is failed, it should be replaced in no time.

D. If the screen can’t be placed far from sunlight. Polyurethane decks and

other parts of polyurethane should be removed and stored in well ventilated

shades. All the bolts should be painted with protective coating.

Illustrations after storage would be seen in installation and commissioning.

5 Opening And Check

Documents is complete, open packing case and check main body and parts

against packing list. Packing list lists contents of packing cases in detail. And

then seal the packing case to avoid loss or damage of parts in the cases. Only

when the parts are needed, the cases can be opened again. If parts or documents

are not complete, please contact suppliers timely.

Secondly, check if any parts are damaged in transportation, if they are,

please contact logistic agent and insurance company to settle the issue.

6 Installation And Commissioning

6.1 Equipment Foundation And Installation Condition

Foundation of the screen should be designed by people in charge of civil

construction. Manufacturer will provide frequency, amplitude, weight of screen

in the installation drawings, working dynamic load at each supporting point,

max. dynamic load at each supporting point at starting and stopping and layout

of anchor bolts. Fully satisfying equipment foundation design, if any data is

found absent, please contact manufacturer.

Installation Condition:

1.Equipment foundation design must be verified by civil construction

authority.

2.After construction, concrete curing must comply with civil design to reach

requirement of solidity.

3.After construction, standard height of two supporting points at inlet and

standard height of two supporting points at outlet should be same. All

foundation sizes should comply with installation drawing requirement.

6.5 Preparation before test running, start-up and test running

1.Preparation

Open filling plug of vibrator and oil level mark plug to check if material is

failure oil level reach standard. For failure of oil, replace it. For lack of oil, fill

it. The rest grease lubrication point should be added with fresh grease.

Check motor according to requirement of motor manual.

Check if moving parts touch fixing parts and avoid bumping during test

running.

Check if there is any people or object around screen and avoid injury during

test running.

Check safety hood and avoid bumping of hood and moving parts.

2.Start-up of Test Running

Push start-up switch. Point push twice. Wait for 1-2 seconds and then push

switch to start up.

3.Test running

After start-up, if there is no abnormal things, go on. If there is problem, stop

and check the machine at once.

6.6 Process of Screen from Operation Position to Stand-by Position And


Cautions.

Make sure feeding equipment stops, meanwhile material of screen have been

screened completely. There is no material on the deck. Stop the driving motor of

the screen to stop the screen.

Make sure feeding pump of spray system has stopped or main valve has

been shut down and stop supplying water. Loosen upper and lower flange of

general pipes of upper and lower spraying system to make it separate from

fixing pipes.

Confirm the field electrics control cabinet, control right of which is

transferred. Meanwhile lock drive motor of screen to make it cut off completely

not start up due to maloperation.

2. Start-up Hydraulic System

Confirm that tank of pump station is filled with hydraulic oil. Start up pump

station motor; hydraulic pump runs; piston rod of oil tank sticks out and support

the tank foundation and lift the equipment up; adjust the valves to lift the four oil

tanks at the same time. Lift the tanks so far as for walking support frame and all

the equipment on its top to separate from eight sets of buffering springs. Lock

valve of pump station tightly and pressurize the oil tank.

After you confirm that the tank is ejected out and locked. Remove the buffering

springs and start up the pump station contract piston rod of oil tank to make the

wheel touch the rail and continue to contract the piston rod of oil tank till contract

it completely.

3.Start up walking system to make the equipment transfer to stand-by

position

Confirm that wheel of walking support frame is on the rail. Confirm that

brake is in braking mode.

Check if moving parts touch fixing parts to avoid bumping at test running.

Check if there is people or other object around screen to avoid accident at

test running.

Confirm oil level of gear box of walking system to avoid running without oil

or lack of oil.

Start up walking system motor and release the brake. Transfer the equipment

to stand-by position and stop supplying power, motor stops, brake brakes.

6.7 Process of Transfer The Screen from Stand-by Position to Operating


Position And Cautions
1.Preparation

Check if moving parts touch fixing parts to avoid bumping at test running.

Check if there is people or other object around screen to avoid accident at

test running.

Confirm oil level of gear box of walking system to avoid running without oil

or lack of oil.

Confirm brake stays in braking mode.

2. Start up walking system to make equipment move to operation position.

Start up walking system motor and release brake, move the equipment to

operation position and then stop supplying power. Motor stops running, brake

brakes. Equipment moving finishes.

3. Start up hydraulic system

Confirm the equipment is moved to operation position and aim the position

blocks of buffering springs. Start up pump station motor and hydraulic pump

runs. Piston rod of oil tank sticks out and supports on the oil tank foundation. It

lifts the whole machine up. Lift the valves to make the four oil tank rise at the

same time. Make walking support frame and all the equipments on the top and

sets of wheel leave rail and rise to the highest. Lock the valve of pump station

and pressurize the oil tank.

Confirm oil tank is ejected out and locked. Install buffering springs and start

up pump station. Contract piston rod of oil tank to make walking support frame

positioning block aim at buffering spring and insert it. Continue to contract the

piston rod of oil tank till contract it completely.

4. Connection

Connect main pipelines of spraying system and confirm it works. Confirm

control right of electrics is transferred from field control cabinet to control

centre. Meanwhile lock pump station motor and walking system motor from

cutting off to avoid incorrect manipulation of start-up.

9 Maintenance

9.1 Daily Maintenance

Check the operating condition of the material on the screen deck when the

machine in normal operation. Especially clear iron wire, iron stick, wood etc..

Check if lubrication of vibrator leaks and temperature of bearing and fasten

cloth. If there is any abnormal thing, please report and solve timely.

instruction.

9.3 Repair Cycle

1. Daily test As the requirement of daily maintenance, daily test shall be

conducted.

2. Monthly test: In principle, every other month. Check the screen box,

screen plate, beam side plate and the wear condition of screen cloth. In addition

to the daily test, if find the problem, deal with it timely.

3. Annual inspection: in principle, every other year, check the whole

machine, replace the wear parts, check the vibrator and screen box.

9.5 Maintenance, Dismantle And Installation of Vibrator

1. New vibration should be added with enough lubrication before operation.

Overflow from oil level plug means being enough. For the first time it is used,

oil should be replaced after 40 hours running. Carefully check if there is remnant

like iron chips in the oil. If there is, you should clean the vibrator. And thereafter,

every 2-3 day check one. If it is normal, execute according to lubrication

schedule.

2. Assembly and disassembly of vibrator should be on the platform or rack

Disassembly parts of shaft like bearing, gear etc. puller must be used. If

bearing is locking, air cutting can be used. But don’t hurt surface of shaft and

case body touching with outer ring of bearing.

Before assembly vibrator, clean the inner side of case body to make sure

there is no remnant and iron chips. You can use magnet. In addition, clean all

the parts to avoid bringing impurity into vibrator.

Before assembly of gear, heat gear to 120-150. It can’t be heated by air

cutting to avoid change of crystal lattice inside gear and affect performance.

Install gear and bearing by jack. Marks of the two gears should be aligned.

After vibrator is assembly, eccentric block can swing freely. And there is no

block or abnormal sound, it can be used or sent to storage house.

9.6 Spare Parts And Wear Parts

Process of ordering spare parts and wear parts:

1. Check numbers and names of parts you need in the attached drawings

2. According to product certificate, check the model, name, production code,

ex-work code and ex-work date

3. List the screen’s model, name, production code, ex-work code, ex-work

date and fig. numbers and names of spare parts and wear parts to buy and

contact with after sales service and negotiate with it.

is in the attached drawing (the seventh item)

10 Overhaul
The overhaul of the equipment is divided into two classes. whichever it is,

the user must be in strict accordance with the seventh, eighth and ninth items.

User’s staff should according to the manual overhaul decks, fastening

connections, vibrator and lubrication of universal coupling before manufacturer

training.

After the training, the maintenance personal should according to operation

manual and training material, check amplitude and bearing temperature and

replace vibrator bearing and refer to the eighth regulation, settle daily failure.

If there is any unexplained failure, please contact manufacturer timely. Don’t

repair key parts at random.
