GRAMMAR: Possessive adjectives

They are words that modify a noun to

show a form of possession, a sense of
belonging a specific person, animal or
thing.
The possessive adjectives are:

Adjectives in English always come before the noun. (Possessive Adjective + Noun)

We use possessive adjectives:

 to show something belongs to somebody:  for relations and friends:  for parts of the body:
 That's our house.  My mother has red hair.  She washes her hair.
 My car has new tires.  Where is your sister?  I have my money.
