The Sagip-Aral program is already a long-running outreach program of
DYCI High School students that aim to expose students to the needs of
their co-students. Through their small, voluntary contributions they are big
help to making their less privilege co-students continue their studies in
DYCI.

A selection committee, mainly composed of staff from the Registrar’s

Office, Guidance and Prefect of Discipline Office and the Finance Office,
screen student application for the Sagip-Aral Program. Interviews with
students and or parents may be conducted if necessary.

Amount of grants depend on the evaluation of the selection committee.

However, none is deemed small since the fund came from voluntary
contributions of students.

b. Philanthropic Grants
Philanthropic Grants are given to deserving students who have been
provided with all possible grants as mentioned above and still cannot
continue schooling at DYCI.

Philanthropic individuals/institutions donate certain amount of money and

this is used to subsidize the schooling of the student chosen by the
selection committee in-charge of the Sagip-Aral Program.

In some cases, philanthropic individuals/institutions already have specific

students to sponsor upon their own assessment.
