Unit Title : Self Introducting

Grade Level : 7th

Time Allocation : One class meeting (80 minute)

Competence Standards

1. Grateful for the opportunity to learn English as the language of instruction international
communication embodied in spirit study.
2. Show polite behavior and care about implementing interpersonal communication with
teachers and friends.

2.1 Answer or explain the question friends who do not understand the context/material self

Indicators :

1. Identify structure the conversation text use the expression self introduction and the
response.

Learning Objectives :

1. Students are able to identify the structure of conversational texts that use self-introduction
and response
2. Students are able to introduce themselves by writing personal data using English
3. Students are able to ask the identity of friends using English

Learning Activities :

1. Teachers prepare students psychologically and physically to follow the learning process
by greeting, invite students to tidy up the class and appearance them, invite students to
start activities by praying, and checking the attendance of students.
2. Students observe the example of the video given by the teacher, which contains an
example of self-introduction
3. With the guidance of the teacher, students formulate questions related to content, social
function, and structure text, as well as linguistic elements in spoken texts self
-introduction.
4. Students say the phrase introduce themselves and their responses in the text given and in
the textbook used
5. Students practice the expressions used to introduce themselves to their friends.
6. Students write their identity in the form of text conversation according to what has been
learned.
7. In pairs, students ask each other identity and introduce yourself and respond self
introduction.
8. Students introduce the identity of their friends as a form of delivering the results of the
practice of asking identity
9. The teacher gives feedback to students about conversations that have been
done/practiced.
10. The teacher gives assignments to students to make self-introduction as an idol figure as
an evaluation of the practice test
11. The teacher asks students to collect assignments as written evaluation materials and
ended the lesson by praying.
