DESIGN OF DOOR OPENING TOOL USING ARDUINO-

BASED ELECTRONIC KTP

Abstract. The door is a very important tool in the house or room, because the door is
the main part to protect the contents of the room or house. Because it's a door that
must have security. This door unlock device uses an E-KTP as access, this door
opener uses an RFID RC522 as an E-KTP in unlocking this door. unlocked after 3
seconds, but when EKTP is not programmed on the arduino uno the LCD will display
access denied if the lock remains closed and locked. Tests carried out on this tool are
RFID can read E-KTP with a maximum distance of 2 cm. Then the barrier that can be
broken by RFID in reading E-KTP consists of plastic, paper, cloth, and a dam box, but
the barrier that cannot be broken by RFID in reading EKTP consists of zinc, plywood,
and acrylic. Then the process of switching between the 12v adapter and the 12v
battery went well.

1. Introduction
Crime or crime is one form of deviant behavior that is always attached to every form of society.
Deviant behavior is a real threat to social norms and is a real or potential threat to the ongoing social
order. Crime arises apart from a social problem as well as an economic problem, not only a particular
community problem, but also a problem faced by the whole community.
High crime that is triggered by economic difficulties and at the same time a high level of economic
need but does not have a good solution has an impact on criminal acts, Ario Gusti (2012). People often
take shortcuts to overcome economic difficulties experienced by committing criminal acts, namely by
stealing or robbing. Lately, thieves have become more daring and reckless in carrying out their
criminal acts.
On the other hand, the community spends a lot of time working hard from morning to night to get a
better economy. Even to meet their economic needs, both husband and wife work to make ends meet.
So the house is left empty without any occupants. This is the target of thieves or robbers to take the
items in the house. Coupled with the security system at home or in the neighborhood neighborhood
(RT) is not good. This becomes an easy target for thieves to carry out their actions. Based on this, a
security system is an absolute necessity to implement, in order to protect our assets and privacy. So it
is necessary to do a touch of technology to overcome this problem
This system is divided into 2 units, the first unit is installed at the environmental security post, the
second is at the door of the house. Seeing the amount of traffic of people passing through the security
post, the system is divided into 2 modes, namely day mode and night mode. This system aims to
minimize criminal acts of theft and reduce the duties of security guards. It is hoped that with this
security system, it can provide a sense of security and comfort, and reduce the crime rate that occurs in
the community, especially the crime of theft. With this electronic security system, it is hoped that
security can be monitored even better and it can be ascertained that only people who have the right can
access it, so that people will feel safe, comfortable and at ease.
several studies have discussed about the door security system stay based on ATmega 328. Research
that done by Ramakumbo discuss regarding magnetic door lock using ATmega 328 based security
code. System The device consists of an ATmega microcontroller unit 328 as the main control.
Hardware consist Power Minimum System ATmega 328, Keypad, LCD, Solenoid driver and
bell. The software used by the application C programming language using Arduino software. Test
results and performance of tool design can be said that this system can work well

2. Method
Research methods carried out is a literature study and component assembly and design tools from
prototypes. Research focuses on security systems automatic door that uses e-KTP as a keyThis method was done
using literature research to find data on the actual problem. In this study using the waterfall method where the
stages are as follows: (see Figure 1).

E-KTP as an RFID tag that will read by RFID, the result of reading this data then forwarded to the
microcontroller as input. Magnetic Sensor MC 38 serves as a detector when the door
forciblyopenedExplain the steps that are made systematically and logically so that can be used as clear
guidelines for solving problems. As in Figure 2

3. Results and Discussion
the circuit is by attaching the E-KTP card to the RFID, then the data automatically on the card will
be read and sent to arduino. There is also data to read data that is in RFID.

Figure 3. set of tools

This test is carried out so that commands from Arduino can be displayed via: LCD arduino
programming. If the card does not match then the LCD will display Access denied or inaccessible. As
in picture 4

Figure 4. LCD display

Testing is done by bringing the RFID Tag Card closer to the RFID. Reader with certain distance
and then measured by a ruler. If the E-KTP is detected by RFID then Selenoid will unlock will open
the door. When the card RFID does not fit on the door remains closed. As in figure 5.

Figure 5. RFID Testing

KTP to open the solenoid is done by sticking the e-KTP on the card An RFID reader that aims to
determine the distance of the e-KTP can open door lock. The sensor distance test is detected between
the card and the reader only distance of up to 5cm, if it exceeds the limit of the Reader, the sensor does
not react and the door stays closed
4. Conclusion

Based on the research and discussion, it can be concluded that:

1. This automatic door safety device can be made very simply with Arduino as the control
center of the circuit and programmed using IDE software Arduino.

2. This automatic door safety device using e-KTP is capable of reading Max Distance eKTPID
of 1.8 cm to 2 cm with an RFID reader sensor MFRC522 which has a frequency of
13.56MHZ
