    During the day the land, which has a low specific


    heat capacity, makes the temperature rise more
    quickly than the temperature in the sea.. The air on
    land becomes hot and rise upwards while the cold
    air from sea moves towards land resulting in sea
    breeze
    Land breeze

    The sea has a higher specific heat capacity than the


    land. At night, the temperature of the sea drops
    more slowly than the temperature on land. Hot air
    above sea rise upwards and the cold air from land
    moves towards the sea becomes land breeze.
