A festival is a series of performances e.g. musicals, plays, narrations.

Venues :
1. A school hall.

 Cast; Actors in an item.
 Audience; people who listen or watch a performance.
 Adjudicators; judges in a competition.

Materials used in a festival.


 Costumes; clothes worn by actors during their performance.
 Prop; Small objects used by actors to enhance performances.
 Back-drops; a painted cloth/ board that is hung behind the stage to
enhance performance.
 Stage; a platform where people perform on.
 Podium; a small platform where people stand when delivering a
speech.
 Rostrum; small raised and mobile platform that someone steps on
when narrating, acting or reciting.

Other vocabularies.
 Trinket- a piece of jewelry or small decorative object that is not
worth much money.
 Dias- a stage where people stand to deliver a speech.
 Trophy- a silver cup given as a prize for winning a competition.
 Plaque- is a plastic or metallic medal that is given for hanging either
on a wall or piece of cloth after a great accomplishment.
 Medals- a flat piece of metal that is given to the winner of a
competition.
 Jingles- a pleasant gentle sounds like small bells ringing.
 A collection of trophies.
 A bunch of certificates
