SAPP

Dispersant

Product Description SAPP (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate) is a commercial chemical often used for
treating cement contamination. It is also used as a thinner in low-weight fresh
water drilling fluids.

Application Dues its acidic nature, SAPP, is very effective for treating cement contamination.
This dispersant is also effective for bentonite muds and is often used in
conjunction with a tannin compound. SAPP can also be used to treat calcium
contamination, especially contamination resulting from cement. It should not be
used in muds where the pH exceeds 9.5.

Limitations  Does not tolerate temperatures above 180°F (82°C)

Packaging and Storage SAPP dispersant is packaged in plastic-lined, multi-wall, paper sacks. Store in a
dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Store away from incompatibles.
Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping
and/or stacking.
