1- Keep things tidy and in order
2- Tightly maintain the ambient and coolant temperature
3- Dress and condition grinding wheels reqularly
4- Read the machine manual
5- Ensure the air supply and electric power to the machine meet the manufacturer’s
recommendations

Standard procedures of Universal Tool Grinding Machine

1- First step to operate any machine is to switch on the main switch to run power supply.
2- Then, emergency button should be clear before operating.
3- Then press power button, so that the grinding wheel starts to rotate.
4- There are two direction in which grinding wheel rotates i-e; clockwise and anti-clockwise
depending upon the rotation of button.
5- Then a manual process starts in which lever for table is adjusted manually.
6- Then place tool at the left tool grinding head and set angles on which grinding can be
done.
7- Then according to the requirements, depth of cut by cross head handle.
