Key words: English, curriculum, globalization, universal

Now a days, the English language has become very strong throughout the world, it is so
important that in our country in order to graduate from university, a few hours must be met
as a requirement. However, to apply for job offers they also ask to have at least B1 in
English, the importance of this language encompasses so many aspects of people's daily
lives: work, personal, when traveling, interacting with foreigners, in music, movies and
books that it is unconsciously presented to us on a daily basis.

“The importance of English language inclusion into university´s and high school
curriculum is based on the demands of globalization and market interchanges, that is why
English language must be considered as part of students instruction as future professionals
that will contribute to the integral development of the nation in all the world”. (Chavarría,
2010). It believe the author is to be correct because all the people have to need learn
English, knowing that is a universal language.

However it is necessary to review the problematic that people face to learn it language for
reasons of social and economic status, so linking English to the university curriculum is the
answer for many future professionals keen for job success.

In conclusion, the English language provides many communicative functions and should
not be required to possess homogeneity every time it is heard, on the contrary, there is
much data to suggest that English is a concept as varied as the diverse groups of people
who speak it, as varied as the diversity of what all these people say, to whom they say it,
and as varied as the different reasons they have for having chosen to speak this language
and not any other, considering the impact that this language has had on the entire world
until, for example, becoming a universal language in many countries where it is not the
native language.
