 INSTRUCTION

 Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar is following CCIM regulations.

 As per amendment has been made in the CCIM syllabus in 7th November 2016, in
Charaka Samhita (Poorvardha) subject of Second Professional B.A.M.S., Practical
Examination was added for 50 Marks.
 Among it Shlok recitation and Shlok writing contains 10 Marks of weightage.
 For the recitation of Shlok, Student should speak the each Shlok with clear voice and
right pronunciation at the time of University Practical Examination.
 For the writing of Shlok, decided by the Teachers of the affiliated colleges from Samhita
and Siddhanta Department with unanimity that minimum 50 Shlokas should be written
with good handwriting in Shloka book from Charaka Samhita (Poorvardha) subject of
Second Professional B.A.M.S., Practical Examination was added which includes Mula
Shloka with reference, Anvaya and its translation.
 One Shlok should be written on single page of A4 size notebook.
 The Shlok book must be certified and duly signed by the respective Head of the
Department with date prior to the University Practical Examination.

Fifty Marks assigned for practical exam are distributed as follows:

1. For chart framing / Compilation 10 Marks

2. Recitation & writing of minimum ten shlokas among memorized 10 Marks
shlokas (The shlokas should be memorized along with Pada vibhaga,
Anvaya, Bhavartha and practical applicability.)
3. Viva-voce 30 Marks
