INCLUSIVE

Globalization used to describe the growing interconnection of the world’s

economies, cultures, and populations caused by the trading of goods and services,
technology, investment, people and information. Globalization can be either narrow
and exclusive or broad and inclusive.
Narrow and inclusive globalization is the restriction or the limitation within a
group, area or people. The focus of the globalization would be limited to the country
alone. On the other hand, Broad and inclusive definition of globalization is the other
countries may also benefit to the certain country's opportunities. This kind of
globalization gives everyone a chance to participate.

3. What metaphors are you going to use in order to improve your own definition of
globalization? Enumerate at least three and explain one of them.
- Globalization can be metaphorically compared to the roots of a tree. The
roots of a tree is connected. They can be seen as network that supports each
other like how the countries work. Each of the countries in our world benefits
each other on a certain way.
- Another metaphor can be used is the boulders of rocks. The boulders of rocks
is very hard to move and transport just like some of the goods in reality. There
are some goods that are not meant to be shared as mentioned in the definition
of exclusive globalization.
- The Inclusive globalization can be compared to a rain. A rain falls in a wide
scope of lands just like the inclusive globalization where their goods and
services is not limited to their country only. It can also reach and benefits
another nations.
