Short Reflection about Lesson Plan:

• Reflect on your lesson delivery, content, methods and activities.

The students were taught the identification of basic shapes and their
counting. They were also told to write in numbers. The students were
given worksheets to see how much they have learned and apply what
they have learned in real life. The students actively participated and
showed great interest and excitement while identifying shapes from the
environment.

11 | P a g e
Self-Analysis:

• What did you like the most about your lesson?

The most effective aspect of my lesson plan is answering the many

worksheets in which students actively participate, engage
themselves, and pair up. Students also showed interest in outdoor
activities by watching the surroundings and determining shapes
through it.

• What would you like to improve in your lesson?

Despite the fact that it was my first-time teaching. I found it difficult to

keep discipline, and I was unable to improve my lesson due to a lack of
time.

 In 1st picture students have to make spots on the flower and on the butterfly.
Also make lines & stripes on the bee than color the picture according to their
will.
 In the 2nd picture students must draw expressions on the empty faces than
colors.

DETAIL OF SUBJECT MATTER AND TEACHING

METHODOLOGY

Step 01: Motivation:

 Teacher will let them observe the shapes of things in the class.
 Can read through the name of shapes using colorful book.
 Ask students to find an object with two or more sides.

Step 02: Introduction & Explanation:

 Display the shapes by drawing on blackboard,
 Ask students to call out the name of the shape.
 Discuss the shape attributes as a class.
 Point to each corner of every shape. Then allow them to count,
 Explain to the students that shapes are made up of straight or curved lines.
 After some discussion, encourage students to make shapes on the blackboard
according to the teacher will.

Step 03: Activity:

Take them outside the class and tell them to find out the shapes you observe. As
well as in the end provide them worksheets to see their performance.

78 | P a g e
Step 04: Assessment:
 Pass out a sheet of drawing paper to each student. Instruct students to draw
common shapes like;

Step 05: Home task:

 Make a list of all the objects and take pictures of the objects and refer to them
during your next lesson on shape attributes.

Reflection:
The students were taught the identification of basic shapes and their counting.
They were also told to write in numbers. The students were given worksheets to
see how much they have learned and apply what they have learned in real life. The
students actively participated and showed great interest and excitement while
identifying shapes from the environment.

DETAIL OF SUBJECT MATTER AND TEACHING

METHODOLOGY

Step 01: Motivation:

Teacher will motivate the students by first quizzing them with the basic numbers,
timetable like 2,4,6 etc. After that try to explain the trick or tell how to multiply for
e.g. Add the number to itself or double it e.g. 2 x 9 = 9 + 9 = 18.
 Double, then double again.
 By memorizing them the previous timetables they can enjoy learning the next
one.
 After learning the table of 8 successfully, interesting and fun activities should
be done.

Step 02: Introduction & Explanation:

 Teacher start by reviewing with the children that in multiplication, when we add
number twice, it become double.
 Teacher will then show them on the blackboard, what happens when double it.
 Then she will tell them to write them as a multiplication equation.

Step 03: Activity:

 Students will give example of some of the doubles they learned in the addition.
 With the help of example, I will ask students to tell me how to write it as a
multiplication equation.

81 | P a g e
Step 04: Assessment:
 I will write 8 x 2 = At the same time I will be asking. Since 8 x 2 is
the same as 8 twice, what will be 8 + 8?
 I will write missing problems of table 8 like 8 x 4 = and
8x7= on the board.

Step 05: Home task:

 As a home task, I will provide them worksheet to solve as a homework.
