o Former Madhya Pradesh CM Kailash Joshi passed
away. Called as the 'saint of politics', he served as
the state's Chief Minister from 1977 to 1978. He
was MLA for eight terms.
3-day Commonwealth Youth Parliament began
o Delhi Assembly is hosting a three-day
Commonwealth Youth Parliament which began on
25 November 2019.
o Around 47 participants from 24 Commonwealth
countries will participate in the event along with
eleven participants from India.
o Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will be the Chief
Guest of the event.
o It is for the first time that an Indian Legislature is
hosting the Commonwealth Youth Parliament.
