Course Objectives:
1. To learn multiple methods of company formation and management, focusing on the lean
start-up.
2. To gain practical skills and experience starting a real business, in-class, from a pre-set
collection of business ideas.
3. To learn useful basics of problem identification, innovation, idea formation &
brainstorming, idea validation, risk assessment, business plan creation, financial planning,
start-up accounting, sales, fundraising, marketing, launching and managing a start-up

3. Analyse market size, cost structure, revenue streams, and value chain

Assignment -I
 Topic: First draft of a Caselet on a successful organisation. (original writing)
 Minimum 700 words

Project Title: Any One


1. Business Plan for online business

Instructions for J-Component


1. Each project team will comprise of max. 10 (TEN) students and min. of 6 (SIX)
students.
2. Team members will divide the work among themselves judiciously.
3. Highest level of Team spirit and cooperation expected among the team members
4. Three reviews will be held
6. Absence in any of the reviews will not be entertained.
7. Last date for final report submission will be 25th November 2021.
8. Final report should confirm to all the VIT prescribed reporting Guidelines (e.g. font,
spacing, formatting etc.)
9. Report should not exceed 60 pages.
