ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT – 2021-22

1) Application forms are invited from candidates for following courses commencing from October-2021-22.
2) Medium of Instruction for all courses is English.
3) The admission for both courses will commence from 22 July 2021.
4) The link for PDIS/PDIETM application form will be activated from 22 July at 11 am and it will be available on official
website of MGLI.

POST DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL SAFETY - ONE YEAR FULL TIME

(Affiliated with Technical Examination Board, Gandhinagar, Gujarat)
Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience Requirement are as under:

 M.E. or M Tech. or MIH (Master of Industrial Hygiene) or (b) M. Sc with Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or Environment
or IGBT (Specialization in Environmental Biotechnology) or (c) B. E. or B. Tech or (d) Post Diploma in Industrial
Environmental Technology & Management or (e) Diploma in Engineering with two years experience or (f) B.Sc. with
Chemistry, Physics, Electronics or Environment as Principal subject with two years industrial experience. Admissions will
be given on the basis of the rules and regulation which are prescribed by TEB, Gandhinagar.

POST DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT -ONE

YEAR FULL TIME (Affiliated with Technical Examination Board, Gandhinagar, Gujarat)
Minimum educational qualification and experience requirement are as under:

 Post Diploma in Industrial Safety or (b) M.E. or M. Tech or (c) B.E. or B. Tech in any discipline of Engineering Technology
with one year experience or (d) M.Sc. in any discipline or (e) B.Sc. in any discipline with two years experience or (f)
Diploma in any discipline of Engineering Science or Technology with two years industrial experience. Admissions will be
given on the basis of the rules and regulation which are prescribed by TEB, Gandhinagar.
MODE OF APPLICATION
 Application forms for PDIS and PDIETM courses are available on the Institute’s website (www.mgli.gujarat.gov.in).
Application form should be filled online and the hardcopy of the same is required to submit along with necessary documents.
Moreover, a Demand Draft of Rs.300/- needs to be submitted in the favor of “Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute,
Ahmedabad” at MGLI, Ahmedabad between 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and 3:00 – 4:00 pm on any working days. (The last
dates of receipt of the application form send by the post and in person is 20th August 2021 up to 4.00pm).
 The filled forms can be submitted in person or by registered post or speed post on the name of the Course Coordinator,
PDIS/PDIETM at MGLI, Ahmedabad. The address is “Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, Opp. Manav Mandir, Drive in
Road, Memnagar, Ahmedabad – 380052. The applicant must apply separately for each course and name of the course should
be mentioned clearly on the envelope. A separate application form will be required for the each course. The institute is not
responsible for any postal delays.

PROGRAM AND SELECTION

 Last date for the submission of the application at MGLI along with all supporting documents with self-attested
copies on or before 20/08/2021, at 4:00 pm.
 Original document will be verified on interview date
 Interview (with original certificate) date will be informed through our official website.
 Interview will be held at Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, Opp. Manav Mandir, Drive in Road, Memnagar,
Ahmedabad – 380052
 Note: Considering Covid 19 situation , all candidates are suppose to follow Social Distancing forms, compulsory use of
mask and all stipulated guidelines by AMC on this matter during every steps of selection process, admission, Interview
and regular classes etc.
 The scholarship forms will be forwarded by the institute but the institute will not be liable for the scholarship approval.
 In case of any discrepancy in percentage, work experience and admission related document of the applicant, MGLI may
file forgery case against the applicant.

MGLI will be the final authority to cancel or reject candidature of the applicant at any stage of admission without
any prior notice.
