(a) The distance between 2 road junctions is 5 cm represented on the map. Find
the actual distance between the 2 road junctions in km.

In Singapore, the typical width of a lane on our roads is 4.5 m. There is a
straight road between the 2 road junctions. Given that the surface area of the
road represented on the map is 3.6 cm2, find the number of lanes on the road.
