The final report should not explain your daily tasks during the internship (Those daily tasks should go
into the Monthly Report).
The final report discusses a situation that occurs/is practiced by the institution where you are
apprenticed, from the perspective of either management/accounting point of view, for example:
Accounting:
1. Discussing the administration of the company's fixed assets, which includes the company's
practices in recording, classifying, shrinking, and controlling it. You can associate the analysis of
accounting point of view with the suitability of the bookkeeping with PSAK and internal control
over fixed assets.
2. Discussing the administration of the company’s inventory, which includes the company’s
practices in recording, classifying, assuming current costs, and controlling it. The analysis of the
accounting point of view can be attributed to the suitability of the bookkeeping with PSAK and
internal control over inventory.
3. Discussing the administration of debt / receivables, which includes the mechanism for recording,
the procedure for cash receipts / disbursement, as well as the control of uncollectible
receivables or the mechanism for the debt to not be late in paying. The analysis of the
accounting point of view can be associated with the theories of internal control procedures.
4. Discusing the company’s practices of fulfilling tax obligations, including the types of taxes as well
as the company's tax counting, paying and reporting mechanism. The analysis of the accounting
point of view can discuss the suitability of the types of taxes with taxation rules, as well as the
controlling process so that the counting, paying and reporting mechanism can be accurate and
timely.
5. Discussing the cost accounting practices in the company’s production process. The analysis of
the accounting aspects can describe the appropriateness of the practices with the theory of cost
accounting.
6. Other aspects, which can be proposed to the internship supervisor, based on:
a. the request from the company where the internship is held
b. the findings of problems encountered during the internship
Management:
1. Discussing the company’s marketing practices. The analysis of the marketing aspects can
describe the appropriateness of those practice with theory in marketing management.
2. Discussing the practices of human resource management (HR) in the company. The analysis of
HR management aspects can describe the appropriateness of those practice with theory in
human resource management.

Background
The background section discusses the reasons why it is interesting to discuss the
determinants of Cost of Goods Sold for furniture making at PT Furniture Cantik.
Internship implementation
This section discusses the location, the duration, as well as the department where the
internship is done.
Company Profile
This section discusses the profile of the institution where the internship is done. It
includes the type of business, organizational structure, and any other information which might be
needed so that the readers understand the institution concerned.
DISCUSSION
Theoretical Background
Describe the theories that form the basis of the topic you are discussing. In the case of PT
Furniture Cantik, it means discussing the theory about the method of determining COGS
according to the concept in cost accounting.
Analysis
This part describes the condition/practices in the company, based on the related theories.
Hoewever, this part does not describe the theories but explains/compares the theories with the
real practices in a certain company. The explaining or comparing process can be done by
discussing similarities, differences, variations, deviations, etc.
REFLECTIONS
This part should include the explanation on:
1.The positive aspects during your study in ICMAP, which are proved to be helpful during your
internship.
2. The positive aspects during your internship, which can support the development of your soft
skills, and your personal opinion on the lack of soft skills of ICMAP students.
3. What you think is the key to success at work, based on your experience during the internship.
