Academic and Employability Factors influencing Placements
This data set consist of student placement data on the XYZ campus. It includes percentages
and majors in middle and high schools. It also includes degree majors, types and work
experience, as well as salary offered to the placed students.

NOMINAL DATA
To represent Nominal Data, we are taking into consideration the Total count of genders
present for the campus placement and the specialization in the MBA program which they
chose.

For Nominal Data, we have reduced the dataset to the first 100 students inorder to present the
data in a more understanding way. We have chosen to represent the gender and the
specialization that they have chosen in their MBA program. We can see that there are two
specialization Marketing & Finance and Marketing & HR. From this data we can infer
that out of 100 students 40 are female students and 60 are male students. And then we can
further segregate them on the basis of their specialization that is out of 40 female students 18
have opted marketing & finance and 22 have opted marketing & HR. Similarly, out of 60
male students 43 opted marketing & finance and 17 opted marketing & HR.

ORDINAL DATA
To represent Ordinal Data, we are taking into consideration the MBA Percentage of female
students specializing in Marketing & HR and graduated in communication & management.

In this, we have taken the data of 14 female students graduated in communication &
management and have chosen Marketing & HR as their specialization in MBA program. The
data shows the final percentage of these students along with their rankings. The students are
ranked from 1 to 14, 1st rank given to the student who has the highest percentage and 14th
given to the student who has the lowest percentage. We can see the highest percentage is
71.63% and the lowest percentage is 56.7%.

RATIO DATA
To represent Ratio Data, we are taking into consideration the salaries of female students who
got placed from the Marketing & HR specialization and were graduated in communication &
management.

In this Data, we can see that out of 14 female Marketing and HR students only 8 got placed.
The highest package is of 3 lakh and the lowest is of 2 lakhs. So, the salary of the student
who got the highest package is 1.5 times the salary of the student who got the lowest
package.

World Average Temperature
This Dataset consists of cities listed by average temperature (monthly or yearly). The
temperature listed is the average of the daily maximum and minimum temperatures. Since the
data includes the average temperature of every city all over the world, we will reduce our
data for better understanding.

This Data shows the monthly average temperature of New Delhi and Mumbai. We can see
the average temperature for each month. The highest temperature recorded in New Delhi is
34 degrees Celsius in the month of June and the lowest is 13.8 degree Celsius in the month of
January. Similarly, the highest temperature recorded in Mumbai is 29.9 degree Celsius in the
month of May and lowest is 23.7 degree Celsius in the month of January.
