NAVIGATING YOUR QUEST
 

The Map of Your Quest Ahead 


 
On your 4-week journey, make sure you carve out enough time to show up everyday and make it 
a priority to sharpen your intuition.  
 
Remember this will be a journey into your own evolution, it will take time, but in the end you will 
be equipped with skills that will benefit you as you continue to practice them in your life.  
 
Each week, you will have the opportunity to ​discuss your reflections with the Tribe​. Learn from 
each others’ wisdom, ​review what you’ve learned ​and consider how you can​ integrate your 
lessons​ with your daily life. 

Your Learning Tools 


 
This Quest is not for passive learning. You are at the beginning of a transformational journey. In 
addition to consuming learning content, you will use various learning tools to integrate and 
embody the lessons.  
 

1. Daily Video Lessons  


Your lesson is released daily, in the duration of 20 mins or less. You will also have some 
tasks and exercises that take approximately 10-35 minutes to complete 

2. Workbook 
This workbook is designed to be used alongside your daily lesson videos. You will find 
daily exercise instructions and extra notes in your workbooks. You may type directly in 
the PDF or print it.  

3. Journal 
We suggest keeping an extra journal to write your ongoing daily reflections. You can also 
use it if you want to go deeper in doing the tasks and exercises. Additionally, if you want 
to really get the most out of your Quest, we recommended reflecting on your insights on a 
daily basis, sharing them, and teaching what you’ve learned.

4. The Tribe  
Your Tribe is more than just a social group. It is your go-to space during any moment of 
realizations and challenges in the Quest. You benefit from learning socially, which is the 
primary way the brain learns. 
 
You are invited to​ share your daily moments of realization​, post your questions, learn 
from insights from others, ask for support, and deepen your learning.

You may have learned about the upcoming concepts in this Quest before; however, it is not 
about what information you know, but how well you’ve embodied these practices in your life for 
real transformation to take place. Silva Ultramind provides you with a system to put your learning 
into practice. 

Start with a Beginner’s Mind 


You cannot fill a cup that is already full.  
 
Don't ask do I know this, but ​do I practice this in my life?​ This is the difference between 
knowledge and embodiment. ​Practice yields insight, which through more practice develops into 
embodiment.  
 
So, start with a beginner's mind. Coming in with the mindset that we already know everything 
about something hinders our ability to learn anything new. ​Repetition is key​. 
 

You Cannot Transcend What You Have Not Mastered  


Understand that we are not aiming to bypass the stages of consciousness in this program, but 
rather to understand them and to integrate them into daily practice to achieve our souls’ true 
desire.

HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR 
EXCELLENCE 
 

4 Tips to Get the Most Out of This Quest 


 
 
1. Don’t aim for perfection​. We do not recommend you to spend hours on the exercises to 
make them “perfect”. Instead, be playful and have fun with it. The bare minimum is to 
show up with intentional willingness every day.  
 

Journaling means writing down your thoughts and the first thing that comes to mind. 
Write as little or as much as you like. You can always come back and take more time on a 
particular task after you complete the Quest. A task done is better than perfect. 
 
2. Stay with the group​. Even if you miss a task, continue the journey with all the others who 
joined the Quest with you. You can schedule some time during the weekend to catch up, 
or revisit the more challenging days after the Quest is over. 
 
3. Set a clear time.​ Dedicate a time for watching videos and practicing the growth work. Set 
a reminder on your phone or elsewhere. You can also add a routine such as lighting a 
candle or making yourself a tea, to create your optimal learning space.
 
 
4. Team up. ​The community is one of the biggest benefits of participating in a Mindvalley 
Quest. Share your questions, inspirations, results and thoughts. Find an accountability 
partner who you can team up with for the length of the Quest (instructions in the ​Tribe 
Guidelines​). This is a powerful way to accelerate your success.

The Top 3 Hurdles You Need to Be Aware of 
 
1. Not enough time​

. Life gets in the way and might have the impression there is just not 
enough time. To prevent this, you need to prioritize and structure your day.  
 
Schedule each day at least 30 dedicated minutes for this Quest. While the lessons may 
be short at times, the meditation may run longer than the usual 20 minutes. Only by giving 
this Quest a high priority in the following weeks, you will get long lasting results.  
 
2. Low motivation. ​Spend extra time in this Workbook to define your vision and context for 
this Quest. Knowing how your life will change is a huge motivator.  
 
Therefore,​ remind yourself why you started this Quest​ and don’t wait to apply what you 
have learned.  
 
Celebrate ​the little victories to keep up momentum. Reward yourself after each 
completed day and week. This will teach your brain that learning is fun and something to 
look forward to. 
 
 
Boost your motivation by teaching your insights to someone who can benefit from it. This 
way you realize the progress you are making and start contributing to the world around 
you.  
 
3. Resistance. ​
There will be days where you just don’t feel like continuing. This is normal 
and part of every learning journey. Therefore, expect difficult days and know that exactly 
on those days, it is important to push through. Only by stepping out of your comfort zone, 
can deep learning happen.  
 
You will not agree with everything in this Quest. The brain hates information that is 
contradictory to what we already learned. This might increase your resistance towards the 
Quest or the teacher. Don’t let this limit your learning experience. Treat this Quest as a 
buffet of practices and information from which you can choose freely what is right for you.

What Happens If I Miss A Day?  
 
Even if your motivation is high and you prioritized this Quest for the next week, life might get into 
the way and you miss 1 or 2 days. First, be kind to yourself. Don’t get distracted by self judgment. 
Take a breath and continue where you are at.

  
 
Schedule some extra time to catch up. You can also skip a task and come back to it after you 
finished the rest of the Quest. 
 
If you missed too many days, you always have the opportunity to re-start the Quest with the next 
batch of students.

SELF-ASSESSMENT
Before you start your Quest, let’s first gauge where you are. This self-assessment is helpful for 
two reasons: 
 
1. It will help clarify what areas you should focus on in the Quest. 
 
2. It will help set a reference point for yourself, so you can later evaluate which areas you’ve 
developed as a result of participating in this Quest. 
 
Rate yourself again in the ​middle​ of the Quest and ​after​ the Quest is over. See how much you 
have grown and in which specific areas.  
 
Don’t think too much, use the first number that comes up in your head and heart.

Once you have your intentions clear and you know who you want to become, consider the 
beliefs that align with that intention. Beliefs are the ultimate cornerstone of success. Think of the 
beliefs that your highest self would have about themselves and their abilities, and adopt them. 
 
Write down 3-5 empowering statements about yourself and make them as simple and clear as 
possible. Make sure they are in present tense, positive, emotionally meaningful and in the first

‘DECLARATION TO ME’ CONTRACT 
 
If you choose to take this Quest, read and sign the ‘Declaration to Me’ contract. When you 
commit in writing what you want to accomplish, you increase the likelihood that you will act 
accordingly. Eliciting this type of personal commitment has been shown to be one of the most 
important aspects of behavior change, especially when you share this self-contract with others 
close to you.  
 
You can print it out, sign, and put it somewhere visible to remind yourself throughout the Quest.

Day 1 - Posture and Style 
 

With dynamic meditation, when we close our eyes, we do everything ​but​ go to sleep. We do not
depend on a lethargic state to relax and lower our brain wave frequency in order to benefit from
bodily relaxation to eliminate stress.

1. ​Listen to the Short Relaxation Meditation.​ ​The Short Relaxation Exercise is a systematic,
step-by-step guided process to help you arrive at a state of total physical and mental relaxation.
This relaxed state promotes mental clarity and will increase your energy, improve your mood
and keep you calm.  
 
 
2. Reflect on what you have learned so far. What were your 3 main takeaways from the first day 
of the Quest?

4. Reminder: Join Your Tribe

Make sure to join the Tribe and to introduce yourself. In the Tribe you will find all the people who
are on the same journey as you and will go with you day by day through the Quest. Everyday
you are invite​d to share something to learn from each other and in interaction. Don’t miss this 
integral part of your Quest.

Day 2 - Centering Exercise 


The Silva Centering Exercise is the foundation of the entire Silva UltraMind System. Listening to it 
once a day will start you on the road re-building the intuitive genius you were born with.  

How often should I do the Centering Exercise? 


The Centering exercise should be done when there's a specific lesson/day in the quest for it 
(there are 5 in total throughout the quest). You do not need to do this exercise everyday. 

What should I do for my Daily Practice? 


We recommend that you practice going to your center (also known as your ‘​level​’) 1 to 3 times 
every day. You can do this by using the ​3-2-1 Technique​ up to 3 times today for a minimum of 
5 minutes each time. 
When you reach your level, you can either relax at that state, or continue with any techniques 
you learn here. 
This whole process can be as short as 5 minutes. So 5 minutes minimum, 3 times a day adds 
up to 15 minutes a day only. 

If there's a Centering or Projection exercise on a day, that would count as at least one practice 
session - so you could still aim to do 1-2 other practice sessions if you like to aim for 2 to 3 
times a day. 

How can I deepen my relaxation during the daily practice? 

A good way to deepen your relaxation is to relax your muscles while you’re counting down. 
Start with the muscles around your eyes, your forehead, and the muscles in your face. Work 
your way down your body trying to notice where muscles are tense and letting them go loose. 

Another good way to deepen your relaxation (after the 3-2-1 count) is to imagine a very 
relaxing scene. It could be a place you’ve been or it could be an imaginary place. The only 
requirement is that it makes you feel relaxed to think about it. Imagine being there.

Below, you will find the Beneficial, ESP, and Positive Statements which you can repeat to yourself 
while at your center. They will also be included in the meditation audio so ​you do not need to 
memorize these statements. 

Beneficial Statements 

1. The following are beneficial statements that you may occasionally repeat while at these 
levels of the mind. Repeat mentally after me. 
2. My increasing mental faculties are for serving humanity better. 
3. Every day, in every way, I am getting better, better, and better. 
4. Positive thoughts bring me benefits and advantages I desire. 
5. I have full control and complete dominion over my sensing faculties at this level of the 
mind and any other level, including the outer conscious level. And this is so. 

ESP statements 

1. I am now learning to attune my intelligence by developing my sensing faculties and to 


project them to any point or place on this planet so as to be aware of any actions taking 
place, if this is necessary and beneficial for humanity. 
2. I am now learning to attune my intelligence by developing my sensing faculties and to 
project them to any point or place on any planet within the Solar System, any Solar 
System within the Galaxy, and any Galaxy within the Universe so as to be aware of any 
actions taking place, if this is necessary and beneficial for humanity. 
3. I am now learning to attune my intelligence by developing my sensing faculties and to 
project them to the different matter kingdoms: the inanimate matter kingdom, any of its 
levels and depths; the animate matter kingdom with reproductive intelligence, plant life 
and animal life, any of its levels and depths; and the animate matter kingdom with 
reproductive intelligence and an awareness of existence, the human body and mind 
kingdom, any of its levels and depths. 
4. I am now learning to detect abnormalities whenever such abnormalities exist within any 
kingdom, any level, and any depth, if this is necessary and beneficial for humanity. 
5. I am now learning to apply corrective measures and to bring back to normalcy any 
abnormality found within any kingdom, any level, and any depth, if this is necessary and

Day 3 - ESP & the Mental Screen 


 
Intuition is not magic. It is a natural skill which we are all born with and we can be trained in how 
to optimize it, so that we can use it more effectively. ESP (Extra Sensory Projection) is the ability 
to project your consciousness across time and space, to retrieve information that you can use to 
benefit humanity

Day 4 - The MentalVideo Technique 
 
Jose Silva always believed that we were sent here to planet earth for a purpose, and that 
purpose is to correct problems, relieve suffering, and convert the planet into a paradise. It 
therefore stands to reason that the higher intelligence that sent us here will help us solve our 
problems in a way which aligns with our greater purpose. 

What’s the difference between visualizing and imagining? 


● Both use the mind’s eye 
● Visualization is receiving information 
● Imagination is creating/putting something out (visually), e.g. using the Mental Screen 
● In other words, visualization is ​input​ and imagination is ​output

Day 5 - Projection to Home 
The Silva Ultramind projection exercise trains you to use both your objective and subjective 
senses. The aim is to strengthen your intuitive sense and discipline your imagination. 

What if I can’t visualize? 


● Even though a lot of techniques are focused on the visual aspects, we know that a 
lot of people do not have vision as their dominant senses. 
● If you have some ability to visualize, this will most likely develop naturally through 
practicing the techniques in this quest. 
● If you cannot visualise at all (e.g. you have aphantasia), you can focus on your other 
senses. For example, you may feel things or have a knowing. 
 
The most important thing is to ​connect to emotions regardless of what senses you use in 
the exercises.​ Visualization is one way to help reinforce the emotions.

Day 6 - ​Centering Exercise 2 
 
All Silva techniques are designed to function at the alpha level. That is why it is so important to 
practice the Silva Centering Exercise from time to time to maintain a good deep alpha level. You 
need to use it enough in the beginning so that you can relax physically and mentally and remain 
relaxed while you do your programming.  

The statements below are for your reference. ​Remember, ​you do not need to memorize them. 

Post-Effects Standard

1. Every time you function at these levels of the mind and at these points of reference, you 
will receive beneficial effects physically and mentally. 
2. You may use these levels of the mind and these points of reference to help yourself 
physically and mentally. 
3. You may use these levels of the mind and these points of reference to help your loved 
ones, physically and mentally. 
4. You may use these levels of the mind and these points of reference to help any human 
being who needs help, physically and mentally. 
5. You will never use these levels of the mind or these points of reference to harm any 
human being; if this will be your intention, you will not be able to function within these 
levels of the mind, nor will you be able to use these points of reference. 
6. You will always use these levels of the mind and these points of reference in a

7. You will continue to strive to take part in constructive and creative activities to make this a
