Priming
Normally, no primer is required for the applica on of
Cemfair Smooth. However, areas to be plastered should
be soaked with clean water before applying the plaster,
except for gypsum and plaster boards.
Placing and Finishing
The suitable thickness of applica on is up to 2 mm per
coat using stainless steel scraper or pu y knife. If higher
thickness is required another layer should be applied
a er the first layer has ini ally set using wet on wet
technique. At higher applied thicknesses, small hair
cracks may appear.
A er drying, the surface can be smoothed using fine sand
paper

Cemfair Smooth has a shelf life of 12 months from date of

manufacture if stored at temperatures between 5°C and
35°C in original unopened bags.

Cautions

Health and Safety

Cemfair Smooth may cause irrita on to skin or eyes. In

case of accidental contact with eyes, immediately flush
with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes and seek
medical advice if necessary.
