Flo-Grout EPCG

High strength pourable epoxy founda on resin grout

Description
Technical Properties @ 25⁰C:
Flo-Grout EPCG is a high strength, non-shrink, pourable
Mixed density: 2.1 ± 0.1 g/cm3
epoxy resin grout suitable for grou ng gaps with
thicknesses up to 300 mm. Compressive
strength*:
≥ 85 MPa @ 7 days
Flo-Grout EPCG is a three component system having base ASTM C579-82,
and hardener as the resin part with the blended ready Method B
filler part. And based on actual installa on condi ons,
Flexural strength*:
adjus ng the quan ty of the filler part can be done with ≥ 30 MPa @ 7 days

Method of Use Notes:
 If applica on is done under high temperatures, care
Substrate Preparation should be done because the working me will be
reduced significantly.
The Substrate should be sound, clean and free from  To reduce the effect of this problem, try to store the
contamina on. Surface laitance should be removed by unmixed materials in a cool environment, avoiding the
scabbling or grit blas ng. direct sunlight. Also, try not to make the applica on in
the middle of the day or direct sunlight.
Steel surfaces should be grit blasted to remove all rust
and scale. Cleaning

Concrete surfaces should be dry. All tools should be cleaned immediately a er finishing
using a suitable epoxy thinner. Hardened materials

cleaned from dust and lose debris using suitable brush or
compressed air. Packaging
Mixing The full unit of Flo-Grout EPCG is with 106.5 kg consis ng
of Base, Hardener & 4 filler bags.
To ensure proper mixing, a mechanically powered mixer
or drill fi ed with suitable paddle should be used. Thicknesses and Size Limitations

The en re content of the Hardener pack should be added Flo-Grout EPCG can be applied in a single layer at
to the Base pack. Care should be taken to ensure that the thicknesses between 10 - 300 mm. For thicknesses

used. Mix the two components for 2 minutes. The filler
should be gradually added while mixing.  Mul ple layers can be applied a er ini al curing of the
previous layer.
Mixing should con nue for 3 minutes or un l a uniform
consistency obtained. Yield

Placing and Finishing Approximately 50.5 litre for the full unit.

Under Base plate: Storage

Enough materials should be available to achieve
con nuous fill and to complete the work. Pouring of the Flo-Grout EPCG has a shelf life of 12 months from date of
mixed grout should be started from one side only to avoid manufacture if stored at temperatures between 5°C and

Formwork:
As the mixed grout possesses fluid characteris cs, all
formwork and shu ers should be water ght. This can be
achieved by sealing underneath the formwork and at the
joints by using an appropriate mas c.
