National Training Manager/ Product owner/ Technical Product Manager

ABOUT ME

I have worked as a National Training manager, Product Tech Support and Technical Product manager with a rich
experience of total 16 years. Starting my corporate career as a Technical support and Technical trainer I have grown
from the grass root level to Training Manager and Technical Product Manager, handling and helping the promoters
and the sales-team and ensuring seamless communication with Distributors and Dealers. I have also been involved in
price-planning and PSI as Product Manager for Fujifilm X-Series line-up.

During the post Covid Period, I have organized and conducted regular online training programmes for the Sales and
Tech team as well as did many Technical LIVE shows with newly launched products on the Social Media platforms.
I also have been building a strong base of Influencers/Mentors for the online and offline activities. I have efficiently
associated many who’s who of the camera industry with the company for business development, product awareness
and customer engagement. I have also been hosting many LIVE sessions with brand Mentors.

I have also been involved in conceptualizing and supervising activities like Workshops, Exhibitions and Product
Releases. I have an extensive experience of conducting pan-India Online/VC training for various LFR brands as
Reliance, Croma (Tata) etc. As a recent added responsibility, I do supervise on the post content to be released on
Social media platforms- over Facebook, Instagram and Youtube in Post, Story and Reel formats.

I am also responsible for Technical Product Videos for the new products introduced in market.
Currently I am associated with Imaginext as Technical Product Manager for multiple Brands in Photography Industry
including – GODOX, Nisi, VANGUARD, FUJIFILM, SARAMONIC, SAMYANG, MOZA.

EXPERIENCE

 Product Technical Manager – for multiple Product Brands at Imaginext. Got here the opportunity to
own multiple product line-up as Tech Product Manager and do the supervising on Digital marketing
creative and activities aswell as do product review videos and Online Lives as a Product Expert &
Technical Product Training for internal team (July 2018 – Present)

 Deputy Manager (Product Manager)- X-Series and Instax for Fujifilm India. Got here the opportunity to
learn and perform as a Product Manager, connecting the Influencers and customers and putting new
concept product – the X-Series in the market. Did many launch events, exhibitions and influencer
engagement to establish the product. Also taking care of the Technical documents for import, Unit wise
price planning, Unit Inventory and order planning and life cycle and liquidation, Sales schemes.
Induction on imaging products to new joinees. Recruiting promoters and making them ready (March
2013- June 2018)
  As the Technical Support Executive/ Nikon School mentor for Nikon India. Got the exposure to the Line-
up of Nikon Camera and Lenses for Customer technical support, from where I could observe from the
grass-route level in the market to the Technical support desk as ATO; to knowing each dealer and
distributor in the camera business.
Here I learnt the business-side of products and got into multiple roles including Website back-end
management and did Sales Promoter trainings also. I also started conducting photography workshop
for different groups and Nikon School classroom. I got opportunity and exposure to do Stage speaking
for over 400 people, and spoke at product launches. Participated in shows for Blogger’s meet and many
other marketing events. I have worked in multiple roles in Nikon that added to my core task, and I
learnt to adopt quickly and efficiently support the company goals through the different profiles given
(Feb 2010-Feb 2013)

 Worked as a freelance Photographer, Documentary Film-maker /Event Cameraman for multiple

organizations and corporate houses. (2007-2010) including Banglanatak.com and Kaaru in Delhi.

 As Creative Visualizer at 123 Greetings.com, a popular e-greetings website. ( 2005 -2008)

 Infocomm (Nov, 2004 - Apr, 2005) as In-House Camera Man for Non-fiction. I have covered for many
documentary films and reality shows.

 Zee Tele-films (Feb, 2003 - Oct, 2004) as Camera Intern and Graphic Designer (Special training by Zee on
GFX). I gained firsthand experience of working with professional broadcast level camcorders.

ACHIEVMENTS

 Conceptualized the Launch in India for Fujifilm XE-3 in the top 6 metro cities.

 Conceptualized and supervised 14 Exhibitions for X-Series & 27 Hi-end Workshops Pan India.

 Responsible for initiating the Fujifilm X-Photographer Chapter in India, and selecting the first 12 X-
Photographers from India, which includes the Stalwarts as Mr. Arjun Kartha, Mr. Sephi Bergerson
and other leading photographer in India.

 Part of Nikon ATO (Asian Technical Office), providing solutions to customers on hi-priority (Max 8
working hours).

 Supervised activities for first biggest regional presence of Nikon Stall at Ahmedabad Photofair-2011
including Promotional activities, POP management, product display, demonstrator training and
assured smooth running of the event.

 Represented Nikon NPS team in Commonwealth Games’10 in New Delhi as support to NPS team.

 Represented Nikon at the World Photography Day 2010-12 at different venues as Mentor of
Photography. And conducted over 90 photography workshops for Nikon India.

 Coordinated with Retailers, Distributors and customers on products query (pan India) to their
satisfaction through-out these years, and I am known in person by the dealers and distributors in
the camera industry thank fully. It’s my sincere pleasure they recognize me and I see it as an
achievement to be remembered.
SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

 Identified as best Cinematographer at 48hrs film project-‘There she goes’ which got projected in
Cannes film festival 2016. I had participated for creative fun and never knew I could win best
Cinematographer award from India- Judged by Mr. Rajat Kapoor and Mr. Ajay Devgan

 I got opportunity to officially cover the elite Fashion-show event- Lakme Fashion week in Hyatt, Kolkata
and also ‘Wills-Lifestyle’ held at greater Noida

 Did project documentation to document the making of- Khalsa Heritage Centre, Anandpur Sahib for
Kaaru, under project director Anando.
