Am a third year Master of pharmacy student and I would be very delighted to work and interact

with you if given a placement at the summer hospital. In summary, I do have excellent customer
skills from the various internships I have attended and I am seeking this summer placement
position so that I can gain more experience from the hospital and also apply the knowledge I
have learnt and acquired throughout the past years into practical work and to give back to the
society. I am a keen and hard working person and I have good leadership and people skills. Also,
am organized and efficient with logical and methodical approach to work.

What I specifically want to gain from a summer placement hospital is especially more experience
in the field of Pharmacy. I have several work experience but with this placement, I believe I will
achieve my dreams of gaining experience from the best pharmacist. In addition, the experience
gained will help me to make better judgements and I will be required to apply the knowledge I
have learnt during my masters classes into use. I have a passion for pharmacy and therefore I
believe this placement will help me go along way especially in helping others and giving back to
the society who dedicates a lot of time in serving others.

I am applying for a placement within the summer hospital because of its good reputation and also
because it is one of the leading and best hospitals in the world. The hospital boosts some of the
best pharmacies and I believe it is the right place for me .I once had some experience at the
hospital during my undergraduate studies and during that that time; I gained understanding of
sterile medicines manufacturing, medicines information and budget management. I also obtained
an overview of pharmacist role in the hospital, where I was introduced into how the how the
hospital works and more so how the pharmacy team works within the hospital and how it is
linked to the primary cared. During my stay there, I realized the hospital staff are also very
friendly and encouraging and will assist anywhere where you do have a problem.

I believe I do have the skills and knowledge required to be given the position placement. The
various skills I have gained from the various hospitals and pharmacists I have worked gives me
the strength and courage to apply for this position. I do have good and friendly customer
approach and I relate very well with the customers .I am a calm and composed person especially
when it comes to resolving problems and those that are beyond my reach are referred to the right
people. I am also trained to SOP, which is the gowning procedure for entering the production
facility, and I believe this input will be very helpful during my placement at the hospital.

I believe in the adage that all work and no play makes jack a dull boy and that is why in addition
to the skills and work experience I have gained, I have also received some awards in
extracurricular activities such as gaining the national pool lifeguard qualification, being second
in Dan Taekwondo black belt and achieving a gold medal in Tehran taekwondo city competition.
In addition, I did win the silver and bronze medals in secondary schools swimming competitions.
In addition to the above, I am a member of the patient safety where am required to attend
meetings based on improving health through different actions and discussions by focusing on
different cases. In addition, am a member of the student forums where I provide opportunity for
relevant members of staff to consider student experience as well as mechanisms for improvement
where issues were identified and represent class members in staff forum with involvement in
discussions and problem solving.
