CONSTRUCTION OF GILGIT-SHANDUR ROAD 216 KM

01. National Highway Authority (NHA) invites sealed bids from eligible construction firms registered
with Income Tax departments having valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in the
Category C-A for individual bidder or as stated in Bid document in case of JV (with specialization in CE-
01 & CE-02 for the year 2020-21) for following Packages of “Construction of Gilgit-Shandur Road
216 Km”

02. The Procurement method shall be Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure Interested bidders can
purchase the bidding document from the address mentioned below on submission of application with a
Demand Draft/ Pay Order amounting to Rs.5, 000/- for each package (non-refundable) in favor of
National Highway Authority, Islamabad being cost of Bidding Document. Alternatively, the Bidding
Document may also be downloaded from the NHA website.

03. Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 2nd August 2021 at 1200 hours in the NHA Auditorium
(HQ) Islamabad. The bidders are advised to visit the site before attending the Pre-Bid Meeting.
Keeping in view the COVID-19 situation, the bidders are advised to depute only a single authorized
representative to attend the proceedings.

04. The Bids in sealed envelope, prepared in accordance with the instructions contained in the
Bidding Document, must reach at the address mentioned below on or before
23thAugust 2021 until 1200 Hours. Envelope containing “Technical Bid alongwith Bid Security” will
be opened on the same day at 1230 Hours as specified in the Bidding Document.
