4. FIRST AID MEASURES


Inhalation Remove to fresh air, and treat symptomatically. Obtain medical
attention

Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off affected area immediately
with plenty of water. If skin irritation persists, obtain medical
attention.

Eye contact Immediately gently irrigate with clean water for at least 15 minutes.
Obtain medical attention.

Ingestion Rinse mouth immediately and repeatedly with water. Do not induce
vomiting which may contaminate the lungs. Obtain medical attention.

Other information If unconscious, do not give anything by mouth, place in the recovery
position, check breathing and pulse. If necessary give artificial
respiration.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media In case of fire, use water spray, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.
Water mist may be used to cool closed containers. Evacuated
personnel to safe areas.

Unsuitable extinguishing media Do not use water jets.

Fire and explosion hazard None known. May evolve toxic gases or fumes under fire conditions.

Protective equipment In case of fire, wear a full face positive-pressure self contained
breathing apparatus and protective suit.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES


Personal precautions Do not breathe. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Take off
immediately all contaminated clothing. Use personal recommended
protective equipment.

Environmental precautions Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system.

Methods for cleaning up Small spills: soak up with inert absorbent material.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE


Handling Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid
generating aerosols and mists. Do not mix with any other chemical. If
clothing is contaminated, remove clothing and thoroughly wash the
affected area. Lauder contaminated clothing before reuse. Wear
suitable protective clothing, gloves and eyes/face protection. Avoid

breathing vapours from headspace of newly opened containers. Use


with adequate ventilation.

Storage conditions Keep container tightly closed. Storage for more than one year is not
recommended. Keep away from sources of ignition- No smoking.
Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place.

exhaust ventilation.
