1. The principles of crochet cardigan

 First, separately knit crochet sleeves - bottom-up.
 Next, knit crochet the neck and the upper part of the cardigan.
 Then we connect the sleeves and the body.
 Then, crochet the bottom.

2. How to crochet the right size?

All diagrams in pattern are for Russian size 42-44 (chest circumference 84-88 cm) – XS-S.
To crochet a larger cardigan, you can:

 Option 1: crochet a cardigan according to the pattern, using a larger hook size. For example, for sizes M-L it can be
6-7 hook size (you can also crochet a cardigan from a yarn in 2 threads).
 Option 2 (for experienced): you can
o Add rapport for sleeve
o When you crochet shoulders, crochet additional increase in additional rows

3. The choice of hook and yarn

Size XS-S Size S-M (chest circumference 90-93 cm)
Hook 5 mm Hook 5 mm
Yarn Камтекс «Романс», 100 g 120 m Yarn Filitaly Lab Belsaida Maxi, 50 g 110 m
50% wool, 50% acril 26% Alpaca, 4% Merino, 70% viscose

Please note: a wool cardigan is quite heavy (front post double crochet and back post double crochet "takes" a lot of yarn).
It is best to use cord-based yarn for this model (it is light). For example:
 Filitaly Lab Belsaida Maxi
 Drops Air
 Gazzal Rock n Roll.

About the sample: I highly recommend linking a sample of alternating rows with double crochets and rows with single
crochets.
It is desirable that the sample was at least 20x20cm - measure sample sizes before washing and drying.
Wash and dry and measure again. If the sample is very well stretched in length, be prepared for the fact that heavy sleeves
will stretch the cardigan from above.

About fitting: We all have different crochet densities, so try to try on things in the process. The most important thing in
this model is the shoulders, if they are small (the cardigan is very tight) do not be afraid to make additional increase and
crochet additional rows in the area of the shoulder line (see rows 3-9 for the body).

4. Crochet sleeve pattern

Base: Crochet 35 chains and link into a ring.

1 row: 2 chains for up, 34 double crochet. Use sleep stitch for finish.

2 row: 2 chains for up, increase in each 7 loop - you will make 39 double crochet.

Next, use the scheme.
