WHY HRM?
From my view point HRM is a subject which is not static it is dynamic roles and responsibilities
of an HR people are always changing it operates a lot of domains such as recruitment,
compensation, corporate HR, Public Relation, HR Admin, policy making, Training and
development etc. Because of its dynamic nature HR job is not monotonous. HR works with all
the parts of an organization. It works not only for the owner of the company but also for the
employee it helps a company to make more revenue and sustainable growth by ensuring satisfied
employee. All of these things influenced me to choose this subject.
WHY MBA?
MBA is a professional course which helps a student to develop the capacity of analysis and
judgement. MBA gives a detailed knowledge about business management that interested me a
lot.
What is HRM?
Human resource management (HRM) is the practice of recruiting, hiring, deploying and
managing an organization's employees. HRM is often referred to simply as human
resources (HR). A company or organization's HR department is usually responsible for creating,
putting into effect and overseeing policies governing workers and the relationship of the
organization with its employees. The term human resources were first used in the early 1900s,
and then more widely in the 1960s, to describe the people who work for the organization, in
aggregate.
What are the objectives of HRM?
The primary objective of HRM is to ensure the availability of competent and willing workforce
for an organization. Beyond this, there are other objectives too. Specifically, HRM objectives
are four-fold: Societal, Organizational, Functional and personal.
What are the functions of HRM?
Human Resource Management is a management function concerned with hiring, motivating, and
maintaining workforce in an organization. Human resource management deals with issues related
to employees such as hiring, training, development, compensation, motivation, communication,
and administration.
