Activity 1 – Brochure/Leaflets making of different DOH Programs

WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES and RULES?

I. CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Brochure Construction: This is a group activity.

2. Brochure Theme: Choose one from any of the DOH programs for the month of September
2021;

3. Brochure Size: The brochures should be made from a single 8 ½" x 11" piece of paper. The
paper should be folded/divided according to the instructions provided. The content of the
various panels of the brochure should align with the instructions provided.
4. Artwork: Ideas are the most important element in these brochures and the art is merely
a means of conveying those ideas. All artwork on brochures that is personally drawn is
highly valued, which would include artwork created by the young person using software.

 Tracing is also acceptable, and simple drawings that represent complex concepts are
encouraged for those who may doubt their artistic skills.
5. Pasting: Pasting of personally drawn art work onto a master is permitted. Do not paste
pictures from magazines, books, or off the Internet, or make extensive use of clip art.

magazines, books or taken off the Internet.]

II. CONTENT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fold/Divide a single 8 ½" x 11" piece of paper into three equal size panels - There will be
three panels. The following is an explanation of what each panel of the brochure should
contain:
a. 1st Panel:
i. Title of the DOH Program including the Theme for the current year.
ii. May include brief description of the Program and its objectives.

b. 2nd Panel
i. Mortality/Morbidity Cases Status in the Philippines in relation to the
programs
ii. Health Teaching

c. 3 Panel
i. Facts and Myths
ii. References
iii. Group No. and Member

2. Submission:
a. Save your output in JPEG format.
b. File Name: GroupNo.NCM104LActivity1 (Example: Group1NCM104LActivity1
c. Duly submit it on your moodle account per group.
