PRICE

Hellow Im shamsun Nahar Mily and Im going to talk about price and place of marketing
mix of Aarong dairy uganda

Now, let’s talk about price,

Since we are focusing on mass marketing, so our product has to be affordable for all levels of
customers from lower to upper. Now, Uganda is already an economically sensitive country, so to
meet the demands of people, we have decided to offer our products at an affordable price.

Another thing which we also have to consider when setting up the price is the number of
competitors in the dairy market of Uganda. There are already quite a few competitors in the
market from both local to international competitions such as nestle and fresh dairy.

So based on these factors, we have decided to keep the price below the competitor’s price to
make it affordable for everyone.

As you can see in the picture we have given an example of the price setting of one of our
product.

Here you can see that the price of our 250gm of flavored yogurts are kept below the competitor’s
price. Of course, we have kept the price without compromising our quality standard.

PLACE
Now, let’s talk about the place

So, the Channel of distribution that we have used of For distributing Aarong Dairy Uganda is the
indirect form of distribution channel. Since we are manufacturing Aarong dairy products in
Uganda, we will sell our products to the wholesaler. Wholesalers usually buy in bulk so we will
give a discount for the bulk of quantity they purchase. Then, the wholesaler will sell the products
to various retailers. Retailers mean convenience stores which are the general store, departmental
store, local super shops in Uganda.

Also, we will have our own website where customers can also order their products and we will
deliver in every region of Uganda.
