Talking about demographic factors , FRESHBUY stores are best for people from every age group from
children to Adults and old age people. The stores will be more focusing on Middle class people who
wants to purchase good quality products at good price range . Usage of eco friendly products and
following sustainable growth will benefit the society too.

MAJOR PLAYERS(suppliers , clients , customers)

Major suppliers of FRESHBUY are Farmers and Wholesalers . It will depend on the situation , where
the store will be getting the best deals in order to satisfy customer . At some point , dealing directly with
the Farm producers is beneficial as the products are fresh as compared to wholesalers and sometimes
its difficult to reach the farmers so dealing with the suppliers that time .

FRESHBUY will be classified in Retail businesses . The services the store offers is retail sales of foods
and beverages from fixed point of sale locations. The stores typically sell merchandise to the general
public for personal or household consumption , providing some after sales ervices too.

1.STORE WITHIN STORE MODEL- This model is recently getting famous as the grocery store allows
to setup a small store inside in exchange of revenue .

2.QUICK DELIVERIES – This trend has grown so far in lot of the Grocery businesses . By providing fast
home deliveries to customer , the stores are making it more convenient for the customers to access the
products just by sitting at home.

3.AUTOMATION TO OFFSET LABOR SHORTAGE- Most of the stores are now well equiped with latest
technology to help overcome the labor shortage as well as increasing efficiency . For example , the
introduction of self-checkouts kiosks and inventory scanning screens.

GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS

As the store will be selling eatables , its obvious that the Government will regulate the functioning of the
store . There are some measures on which the store should pass , for example – Food Safety and
Labelling , Use of Plastic bags and their restrictions , if selling the tobacco related products , needs
Tobacco Retail Dealer’s Permit . Overall the regulations require the business to obtain the license ,
keep the record of what they are selling and sell properly packaged foods.

absolutely lower or equal to other grocery stores. If the customer notice greater price than other
stores , than it will be matched . Overall with FRESHBUY , the experience of both online as well
as walk-in shopping is going to be better than ever.

Trends in this market keeps changing from time to time .At the same time there are a lot of trends
going on like Strategic partnerships , E-commerce is at core , the lifestyles are impacting the

There is always some kind of risk present in the business but its more when a new business is
getting started because a lot of successful players are already in the market who are selling the
same products like Walmart , Freshco and Sobeys etc . Its hard to compete with them whether its
pricing or Quality that we offer . There is always a risk of Failure associated while opening a new
venture . Apart from it other risks are Theft and inventory damage.

PLANNED RESPONSE

Everything on the reponse depends upon the pre-assesment of the risk. Backup Plans will be kept
ready for the business if anything goes wrong.Regarding risk of theft , it can be prevented largely
by improving the safety systems in the stores and by Hiring loss prevention members.

Operating in Canada , the main competition for FRESHBUY is from Fresheco , Walmart ,
Sobeys , Foodbasics , Metro etc. as these are already operating in the country from a long time
and have good reputation too. These stores will provide direct competition because they are
selling the same category products which Freshbuy will be selling .

COMPETITOR’S STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS

STRENGTH -The biggest strength the competitiors is having the already having Good reputations
in the market . All these stores mentioned have bigger section of customers with them . It happens
sometimes that people hesitate to try newer brands .

WEAKNESS-As the products are almost similar in every grocery store , so there will be no big
difference between quality of the product . Some stores have started home deliveries but not al of
them. The second thing where FRESHBUY will get advantage is the Customer service . And
ofcourse , the main factor which is Price of products , it can be lowered to some extent.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

FRESHBUY has introduced all new concept of personally selecting products in the case of
products such as fruits and vegetables when the customer has opted for home delivery . The
customer will be given good quantity to choose from . This will remove the hesitation from

are thousands of suppliers . But majority of stuff is from COMPLIMENT Inc. and UNIVERSAL . These
2 suppliers are having around 65% share in the stock . Apart from it , FRESHBUY has given chance
to lot of new ventures.

ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION

Advertising and Promotion is an crucial part of every business so like everybody else , the products
from FRESHBUY are promoted through various channels . Public can see the products on different
social media platforms. FRESHBUY is using more of eco friendly products which will fulfill the aim of
going sustainable and customers will definitely choose it over other brands. Each FRESHBUY unit is
going to have the scheme of providing samples to the customers before purchasing the products so the
buyer will be sure of what they are purchasing. Apart from it there will be lot of in-store events
