applied force meaning that the more we stretch or compress the spring,
= ΔF / Δ x the greater the restoring force of the spring.

The applied force is directly proportional to displacement because the longer we stretch or compress
the greater the restoring force of the spring. The spring constant of the spring directly affects its
displacement for a given amount force applied, as the spring constant increases the displacement
deceases and the greater the value of the spring constant the more it harder to stretch or compress.
