(NOMINATION FORM)

ELECTION CODE OF CONDUCT
APCAA Annual General Election 2021-2022 to be held on 25th September 2021 under
Clause 29 of Memorandum & Article of Association

1. Only Nominee of the firm will be allowed to cast the vote in compliance of Clause
8(a) of the Article of Association. However in case of a lady Proprietor the Manager
of the firm will be entitled to represent the member firm as per MRF submitted at
Association Office.

2. No Polling Agent/Presiding Officer will be allowed anywhere in the Election Area

other than the place specified for him for the issuance of Voter Slip/Ballot Paper.

3. No Candidate will be allowed inside the Election premises other than for the
purposes of casting of vote, however, sitting General Ssecretary is allowed to visit
ttime to time.

4. There will be only one Entrance Door and one Exit Door, the same room shall not be
allowed to be used other than purpose specified.

5. No Voter Slip will be issued to any person until and unless he proves his Identity to
the satisfaction of the Polling Staff and Polling Agents.

6. The Voter Slip will be issued by the APCAA's Staff after verification of the identity in
presence of Polling Agents, the voter will present voter slip alongwith booklet to
Presiding Officers.

7. The Presiding Officers shall obtain thumb impression/signature, thereafter, the Ballot
Paper will be handed over to the voter and they will keep computer generated slip in
their record.
8. The voter will immediately proceed to mark the Ballot Paper inside the Booth for the
purpose of secret balloting and at one time one person will be allowed to remain in
the booth and he will leave the polling booth just after filling the ballot paper and
will poll the ballot paper in the ballot box in the booth.

9. No voter will be allowed to leave the polling area until and unless he has polled the
ballot paper in the Ballot Box infront of the Election Commission in booth.

10. There will be a separate polling booth outside the Election premises for those voters
who are not able to approach the APCAA Office due to any medical problem and no
person other than the particular voter will be allowed inside that premises, this will
be the responsibility of the Office Secretary to obtain ballot paper for such person
and after casting the vote the Office Secreury will deposit the said ballot paper in the
Ballot Box placed in respective booth. The secret balloting will also be the
responsibility of the Office Secretary.

11. No convincing, shouting and pasting of Stickers will be allowed in the election
premises.

12. Time of polling can be extended with mutual understanding with the Presidential
candidates with the consent of Election Commissioner. However, the decision of
Election Commissioner will be final.

13. The Ballot Box will be de-seal infront of all representatives.

14. Counting of votes will be started after the closure of polling.

15. No voter shall be allowed to cast his vote with camera or visit along with the media.

16. The media persons shall be allowed to visit Election proceeding after the permission
of Election Commissioner.
17. In case of rain / disturbance in the surrounding area and strike the Election
Commisioner can postpone the election after the mutual understanding in writing
with Presidential candidates of each panel.

18. In the counting area/hall four (04) persons shall be allowed to sit in the counting
area/hall as nominated by the Presidential candidates excluding sitting President,
General Secretary, Presiding Officers, Polling Agents and Officials staff.

19. On completion of counting / scrutiny the provisional result will be announced.

20. Election Cceeinnsioner's decision will be final during the whole election process.

21. Violation of any Rules, Procedure, Code of Conduct, By-laws and mis-behavior with
any staff of Election Commission will be observed, strict action would be initiated by
the Chief Election Commissioner and the decision of CEC will be final in this regard.
