ONE-DAY ONLINE ORIENTATION ON DATA REQUIREMENTS AND DATA

GATHERING FORMS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021
Zoom Conference (11 February 2021, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)

I. OPEN FORUM AND AGREEMENTS

Questions are raised thru the chat box or live questions. For questions raised live, the sequence
of acknowledgement of questions are determined by the timestamps. On the other hand, chat box
questions/suggestions are filtered by the EMISD Secretariat and chosen by the Facilitator. Please
note only relevant questions were selected and answered accordingly through this
documentation. Questions raised by the participants are summarized and translated. Further,
these final agreements are decided by the Secretariat approved by the Chief.

QUESTIONS/SUGGESTIONS AGREEMENT/S

In terms of reporting and encoding to BEIS,

1. Is there a separate form for extension or
data are combined in annex/extension
annex schools without school IDs? schools to mother schools since there are no
school IDs.

2. What if the item in IUs (schools with
fiscal autonomy) is Administrative
Officer (AO) and not Cashier I and
Supply Officer I?
Secondary Schools can be tagged as IUs
even without Cashier I & Supply Officer I
plantilla items as long as they have finance-
related positions, book of accounts or fiscal
autonomy, and agency code.

Personal resources shall not be reported

3. Do we report or include the usage of
personal portable wifi such as Smart Bro,
etc.?

5. On “living with cancer”, is it classified as
cancer patient or learner with cancer
patient at home? What about cancer
patients/learners who died last year?
6. On reporting on number of WASH
facilities, is it functional or non-
functional? Will it be automatically
summated?
7. Are we still including newly issued or
confirmed school IDs for the current SY
in consideration with the January 15,
2021 cut-off date?
8. Cut-off on reporting in BEIS Forms in
reference to school MOOE
9. On our current set-up, can we consider
our learners as homebound/home-based
schooling?
10. Can the number of grantees be higher
than the number of ESC slots?

Reporting should only apply to
learners/school personnel with Cancer.
Please refer to Box 13 of the revised form.
For cancer patients/learners who died last
year, cut-off date should be followed.
Reporting should be both functional and
non-functional. Automated summations
are already available in the system.
Issuance of school IDs are still allowed
however, provided the January 15, 2021
cut-off date, these schools will no longer be
included for the current SY’s Official
Enrollment. Assuming normal operations
will take place in the next SY, October cut-
off will be followed.
Data on School MOOE is always as of
previous FY’s. For BEIS Forms SY 2020-
2021, reporting should be from January
2019 to December 2019.
No, only learners enrolled in the
homebound/home-based schooling
program will be included.
No, the number of ESC grantees cannot be
higher than the number of slots for the
reason that even if there are transfers, slots
are counted by the receiving school.
