assessment of learners’ reading and comprehension skills. Conducted via video conference, this activity
aims to acquire information on the level of reading and comprehension each learner is in order to tailor
specific reading intervention programs that may address their issues.

A pre-testing was also conducted to assess the level of competency of the learners are in all
subject areas. This is vital in formulating specific intervention methods that shall address the needs of the
learners that they may cope up with the lessons appropriate to their grade level.

Also, a staple duty that Ms. Talento has been performing is the production, distribution, and
retrieval of learning materials or self-learning modules (SLMs). In times where the parents or guardian or
the learner is unable to acquire the LMs from the school, Ms. Talento personally delivers the said
materials to their homes so as not to delay the flow of teaching and learning activities among learners
who are from far-flung residencies.

Due to the pandemic, social gatherings are still not allowed. Thus, Ms. Talento has met with the
parents of her learners through online media. She has contacted each parent and oriented them on the
activities for the school year.
