ORAL PRESENTATION: GENERAL BIOLOGY 1

GUIDELINES:
1. Prepare a 30 minutes discussion on the topics assigned to your group.
2. Use Microsoft Powerpoint/ Prezi or other electronic resources for the presentation.
3. As much as possible, the medium of discussion is in English.
4. Lessen reading of idiot cards or any other written sources during discussion.
5. Each member should be able to discuss a certain concept for him/her to be scored.
6. For each minute in excess of the time allotted, 1 point will be deducted from the group’s score.
7. The group should submit to the instructor (hard copy) and provide the class (uploaded on your fb
group page) with a summary of the presentation until 5 pm of the day before the scheduled class.
For each hour in excess of the scheduled time of submission, 1 point will be deducted from the
group’s overall score.
8. Each group should prepare a 15 items post quiz that will be given to the class on the next
meeting. It could be Identification, Modified true or false, Essay or combination of any of the
two.
9. Each member will be rated based on the rubric below. Print/ photocopy the rubric or score sheet.
