Implemantations

In an initial client meeting with Mr Jimmy Mistry. I was offered a job as a


Hospitality Consultant ,Mr Jimmy personally suggested that the main focus would
be in enhancing the experience of the Guests and the Resort , Our main focus
would be on the following individuals from various departments namely from the
Kitchen Department the food production team as well as the Bar department we
have to focus also on the entire Operation Hands On .

Mr Jimmy your initial question addressed to me was....

"What Can You Contribute to This Company?"

My problem-solving abilities allow me to work extremely well under pressure,


which I understand is a common occurrence in this role. In a previous position as
the Food and Beverage Director, I had to decide which supplies to order to stay
within the budget, but I had a limited amount of time to make a decision. Problem
solving skills are important in any industry .Also in my previous work experience
included innovation in many areas, including strategies for more effective
teamwork. At my previous company, I devised strategies for improving teamwork
and communication among members of team projects. I can bring to your
organization  not only my ideas from my previous job, but my general passion for
innovation too.

Mr Jimmy also emphasized he would like to hire International crew to help


support and be a mediator to train the staff too (On the Job Training)

He would also encourage the hireling of young energetic couples which is very
understandable and recommended. Me along with the HR and The T & D team
could help expedite the process with the Job Description, the expected Salary
and also the Protocols of Sponsorship along with the accommodation factor, for
the following Positions as suggested .
We have to Emphasize on the Della Standards with a simple Motto.

We portray the O GOLD Standards.

The property certainly does require A Chocolatier, A Patisserie, A Boulanger,A


Pizza Maker and A Mixologist ,We already have A Head Sommelier which is
Great I am sure with his Expertise he can not only enhance the Guests
Expectations but also train and educate the rest of the Crew. Also host a Wine
Tasting event for a nominal Charge and try and keep the Guests on the Property
a Great touch would be presenting each and every participating Guest a Wine
tasting Cup again the WOW factor. Pairing of Wines and also have a Extensive
Wine List.
First of all, we should specify who we should be selling chocolate to. Targeting individuals and
private events such as weddings, engagements, and newborn would be a good start for our business.
The location at the moment is an Ideal spot as it is in a crowded place in the Resort . We can Create a
charming vitrine, as it’s the first thing that attracts the Guests attention. We should also work on
fancy labels depicting Della Resorts and making it a signature product which is unique and
sophisticated , since We also have attached to the Chocolate store Icream counter which has limited
Flavours we could work on the flavours too which is eye catching, I personally suggest we should
have soft serves of frozen yogurts served in fancy cones with the Resorts Logo or in cups depending
on the Guests requirements to enhance the Guests Experience. .  

We as a team have to start by greeting the Guests with a smile, a genuine one of course. Then, assist
them and understand what they are looking for. Don’t leave them alone. The staff should answer all
questions and act as consultants. Therefore, We have to educate and train our team about the
production process and ingredients of each item. Bottom line, turn our personnel into chocolate
experts. Up selling and upgrading.

The Chocolatier ::This individual would be the second-in-command in the


Pastry shop and will oversee production in the absence of the Chef. This position
usually will have an overall understanding of all aspects of the business and also
will handle working with new employees, including setting up training and
schedules especially from northern Europe, Being a master chocolatier involves
perfecting the art of working with chocolate to create desserts as well as skillfully
crafted pieces of art with chocolate. Chocolatiers must understand the physical
and chemical aspects of chocolate, to not only create chocolates and other
confections, but also to create sculptures and centrepieces. Perfecting the
technical aspect and creating a absolute fantastic atmosphere and have live
demonstrations to portray His /Her skills.

Pâtisserie : it describes French pastries and the pastry shop they are sold
Although the word is used quite liberally in English-speaking countries, in France
and Belgium the law restricts its use to bakeries who employ licensed maître
pâtissier (master pastry chefs). Also get the guests involved in the art of pastry
making along with the event Manager like making the easiest for example “ The
Black Forest cake”

Boulangerie / Viennoiserie: A boulangerie is a French bakery, as


opposed to a pastry shop. Bakeries must bake their bread on-premises to hold
the title of 'boulangerie' in France. While a boulangerie may also prepare
pâtisseries and viennoiseries, their main trade will be in traditional French breads
viennoiserie Viennoserie refers to breakfast pastries made in the style of Vienna,
Austria. Also live demonstrations on special events

Pizza Maker: As a Pizza Chef, he would be responsible to prepare a variety


of pizzas quickly and consistently in line with our company standards or
SOP”s.He should have experience with different pizza types.his main goal will be
to help increase Total Guest Satisfaction TGS by preparing high-quality pizzas.
And suggesting Toppings of course have the Pizzas prepared A LA Minute , and
also conduct demonstrations.

Mixologist: This certainly will play a very important role in the Bar
Department,The problem with defining “mixology” is that the word is often used
interchangeably with “bartending.” There is a large overlap in the skill set
required for a great bartender and a master mixologist, but they are distinct roles.
A bartender generally works at a cocktail bar making classic cocktails and house
specialties, while also interacting directly with Guests in ways similar to a
restaurant server. Mixologists may work occasionally in a bartending capacity,
but their job title implies that they do a significant portion of their job behind the
scenes, creating new craft cocktails and putting their signature twist on existing
favourites and whilst in the front of the Scenes have demonstrations and portray
his Showman ship with exotic Cocktails Mocktails and Flaming Drinks with Fancy
Garnishes.
Iwould suggest another opening of a Brand Ambassador / Concierge.

A Brand Ambasador : He can provide a new approach to our hotel,


helping the Resort to enhance certain aspects related to the team or to certain
aspects of the organisation as a whole.
Capturing Guests:  He / She would certainly will be in charge of implementing
different strategies that will help us to capture Guests, as well as retain them.
They will also segment the market in order to be able to identify the most
predisposed profile to visit our Beautiful Resort.

He / She would be responsible to Sell the Resort, transfers, hotels, Pre-Post


excursions to our guests in the Resort,
Sell and record Future Resort Deposits to guests in the Resort,
Facilitate reservations (bookings) in the System to assure accuracy timely
processing
Prepare In house plans and facilitate guest events, meetings and social events
focused on selling the Resort, including sales presentation preparations,
coordination and presenting,
Effectively coordinate activities with the Resort Staff and the Main Office staff to
assure smooth and effective work.
Process reservations, revisions and cancellations using reservation in house
system
Process reservations paperwork for all aspects of the booking process
Demonstrate a strong functional knowledge of our Della product‘s
Monitor bookings from option period through follow-up on payment
requirements
Complete and forward required accounting paperwork to adjust reservations
Adhere to company policy and procedure
Advise our MD Mr Jimmy Mistry of all problems in a timely manner,
Effectively perform in house based duties as assigned by our MD Mr Jimmy Mistry
or designate
Adhere to perform all in house safety and security requirements as assigned
Organize responsibilities to ensure completion and compliance with standards
Achieve Sales results to plan, per Monthly, Quarterly and Annually
Support performance management system and attend all mandatory in House
Department meetings. Performs and manages other duties as assigned.
