ABSTRACT

The study entitled “Effectiveness of Automated Accounting Processes to Micro-lending

Businesses Amid Pandemic” aims to determine the level of satisfaction in the aspects of

accuracy, reliability, timeliness, functionality, and manageability to accounting managers and

staffs and draw the appropriate recommendation from the interpreted result of the

questionnaire. The target beneficiary of this research study are other existing micro lending

businesses who aspire to transition from manual accounting process to automated accounting

process.

This study is a quantitative research that attempts to accumulate systematic process

for obtaining quantifiable information and analyze it through the use of statistics. It will

utilize a non-probability sampling method under a purposive or judgmental sampling scheme.

The survey research design will be used in the study which involved the use of questionnaire

to gather data about the experiences and possible suggestions toward improvement of the

automated accounting processes. The design will determine the effects of the dependent

variable which is the response of the respondents to the independent variable which is the

questionnaire itself through providing a result in relation to the research. The results of the

evaluation will certify whether the automated accounting processes are effective and is

accepted in the aspects of functionality, reliability, manageability and efficiency.

Evaluation of the research will be administered utilizing structured questionnaire that

will be given to twenty five respondents comprised of accounting personnel such as managers

and staffs who are currently utilizing and affected of the automated accounting processes in

the time of pandemic.
