- Elma Muros-Posadas, also known as the "Long Jump Queen" of the Philippines and heptathlon
champion, is a former member of the Philippine Track and Field National Team and now a legend in
the Philippine track and field history that specializes in long jumping. I agree, from my viewpoint,
with her designated gender marker. Because of the medals she won at the Olympics and SEA games,
she is undoubtedly an athletic person. We can all be Elma Muros, if you have the hard work, the
determination and the enthusiasm for your work. Only use your abilities and skills and believe that
you can be Elma Muros. Gender marker is not the excuse for all of us not to believe in ourselves and
to fulfill the passions, dreams and goals.
