Implications of DeMorgan Theorems
• 𝑥 + 𝑦 = 𝑥ҧ 𝑦ത
• The left hand side of the equation can be viewed as the output of a NOR gate
with input x and y
• The right hand side of the equation is the result of first inverting both x and y
input and then putting them through an AND gate
• The two representations are equivalent
• Both representation are used to represent NOR function
