PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Given the needed materials you must be able to perform the
procedure of bathing, dressing/undressing children

Liquid baby soap
Bath towel
Wash towel
Dipper
Pail
Baby dress

STEPS/PROCEDURE:

• checked Children’s vital signs before bathing based on procedures

• prepared Bathing paraphernalia as per procedure

• checked Bath water quantity and temperature based on health requirements of

the child

• assisted Children in dressing up according to prevailing weather condition

• acknowledged respected Children’s preferences and decisions are followed

whenever appropriate and possible

• dealt with Children with difficult behavior in bathing
