1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using (a) broad and inclusive definitions and (b)
narrow and exclusive definitions of globalization?

1. BROAD AND INCLUSIVE

ADVANTAGES
 Gives more opportunities and benefit’s everyone
 It allows participation in developing all over the places.
DISADVANTAGES
 To much attention for a bigger cause sometimes leads to neglecting it’s own
country.
2. NARROW AND EXCLUSIVE
ADVANTAGES
 Helps the growth of it’s country
 People focuses on what is to be develop in their own country
DISADVANTAGES
 Difficulty in development due to limited interaction to other countries
 Too independent that it does not have any relationship to other countries.

2. What do you think is the importance of defining globalization?

Defining globalization gives people to be aware of the world development. Knowing its
definition and understanding its purpose, helps gives the role of a person meaning to the world
and to how it can contribute to its globalization. If not to contribute at least to being aware of
what is happening.

3. Do u agree with the idea that the contemporary world is characterized by high liquidity? Why or
why not?
I Agree, because the world is constantly changing and keeps on developing. People
continuously develop new ideas, new products and a lot of things. And this changes are
happening fast that many people are adjusting to new things.

B. What gadgets or devices do you usually use to listen to music?

I usually use laptop in listening to music

C. Where were these gadgets or devices made? Where is the company based?
The laptop(Lenovo) was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1988 and would grow to be the largest
PC company in China.

D. How did you access these music? Did you purchase them online or listened to then through You
tube, Spotify or other music channels?

I use the internet and online spotify non premium account.

2. Create your generalization and discuss: How would YOU define globalization?

Globalization is a wide spread development either within a country or nationwide.

3. What metaphors are you going to use to improve your own definition of globalization?

If I were to use a metaphor for globalization I’d use “a virus”. Because of how it affects people
and countries and how widely it spreads.
