 OBJECTIVE

1.1 GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Improve the reading of texts written in English, helping to achieve fluency with the accent and
manage to pronounce it as a native speaker.

1.2 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

• Investigate the use of certain words in our native languages using dictionaries in English
or on digital platforms

• Analyze the structure of the book, to be able to recognize how each of the paragraphs is
composed as well as how certain sentences are formed.

• Propose friends or people in general, who are encouraged to read a book in English,
encouraging self-education and appreciation for another language.

 SUMMARY

The story begins with a boy who is waiting for his father to see the Christmas lights together since they
were at Christmas time. The pope didn't show up and the party dj was counting down to turn on the
building's Christmas lights. The main actor loved to climb mountains, at the same time he had a great
enthusiasm when talking or learning about spiders was his favorite subject. They used to call him Spider
Boy, on weekends he went with his dad to a large park where there were mountains and many rocks,
because he loved those places, he wanted to be one of the best climbers. He has a friend named Connor
who invited him to his house for a weekend, when he arrived he talked about the chores and they said they
were stupid, Spider Boy told him about the weekend with his dad and the place they went together. He
also told him about how good a climber he was, he told him about spiders since it was a subject that he
dominated like the back of his hand and he gave him to understand that he loves to climb mountains and
loves to talk about spiders.

PERSONAL OPINION
My opinion about the book was that I found it interesting, it has a very interesting plot as well
as the main actor I identify with. Because I also like to climb and be in high places.
