Month Activities
August Orientation Session
Librarian will tell the students rules of library.
How to take care of books. How to maintain a reading Log.
Gives the students a chance to meet the librarians and hear what they do every day to
keep the library running. They may even get a glimpse behind the scenes to see how
the librarians sort the books to go back on the shelves.
September Internet Access
Choosing a theme Librarian your students how they can use the library to find
information.
They will have activities to searching books through internet.
October Urdu Reading
Urdu reading Stories.
Student will read a story or novel in Urdu on daily basis.

November Online reading books

 Given the chance to students how to read online books.
December Library Trip
A trip to the library becomes an engaging learning opportunity for your school and
colleges students with a little creativity.
Schedule the tour during a library story time so your students can participate.
January Reading theatre
Organize a Literature Day.
Make students groups, in a week each group will perform a drama on stage related to
selected story.
Story will be in Urdu and in English.
January Write a Story
Students will write any Story in their own words on any topic which is easy for them.
February Different subject reading
Students will read books in different subjects like Science, History, and Geography.
March Favoritism Reading
Students will make the pages of their favorite story books.
April Students experience
Students will tell their experience to reading books. How was this year for students to
spend the time in library?
And Librarian will come to know to get the students suggestion. In next year what
should be new in Library.
May Reading Gala
Community/ parents will be involved. A guest speaker will be invite to share his/her
views about the importance of reading.

 Certificate will be given to winners which are good in reading books and library activities.
 Badges will be awarded to students who converse in English to encourage students to speak in
English.
 Full Participation will be ensured in all activities.
