Subject: GENERAL ORIENTATION ON THE INTERIM GUIDELINES ON


STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS FOR THE SCHOOL
YEAR 2021-2022 UNDER THE NEW NORMAL

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Learner Support


Services-Youth Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), announces the conduct of a General
Orientation on the Interim Guidelines on Student Government Elections for the
School Year 2021-2022 under the New Normal on Friday, 03 September 2021,
2:00-4:00 p.m. via a virtual platform.

The activity aims to provide stakeholders with concise and accurate information
on the interim policy guidelines in conducting Student Government Elections amid the
COVID-19 pandemic. It also targets to ensure that the guidelines shared with the field
offices will answer meaningful questions and draw accurate conclusions on the
election process based on the consolidated viewpoints of the participants.

In this light, all individuals addressed, and others concerned are directed to
watch the said event through DepEd Tayo- Youth Formation Official Facebook

Furthermore, the orientation will follow the indicative event schedules and
