Here are the questions:

1. Choose one individual who have influenced you most in your life and then describe precisely how
such influence changed your ethical behavior. My parents influenced my life the most when I was
growing up. I have learned a lot from them. My mom taught me how to be grateful and appreciate
simple things in life. She taught me how to be patient and resilient in times of hardships and difficulties.
My dad, on the other hand, taught me the true meaning of generosity and hard work.

2. What is your concept of the good life? Explain.

The pursuit of happiness. Better if it isn't smooth sailing. A pursuit which takes you over hills of
happiness and through valleys of disappointment. A journey which is its own destination. A quest that
has its shares of laughs, tears, surprises and heartbreaks. A voyage where every turn eventually leads
you to the same destination. An odyssey that is worthwhile to be put on paper and immortalized for
generations to come.

3. Who were some of your heroes or heroines? What are the qualities that you want to emulate from
them.

My Mother is my hero because .They assure me that it's okay to make mistakes. When they answer
the phone to listen to me tell them about my massive fail of the week, or that embarrassing thing I did
the other day, you can be sure they always have a story to tell, of their own mistakes they made at my
age. They have always ensured me that mistakes are all just a part of growing up, and you will learn
valuable life lessons from a lot of them.

They believe in me, when I don’t believe in myself. If I am stressed out about work or college and I
don’t think I can handle life, my parents will be there no matter what, to tell me that everything will be
okay. Ever since I was a little girl my parents have always had the faith in me that sometimes isn't so
easy to have in myself.that's my reason why my parent is my hero.
Case to be resolved:

Suppose a Makati-area manager, Tommy Laoc, learns that his assistant , Miss Lynn Cyac is using the
office phone at least once a week to talk to her sister in Cebu for an hour or so. The manager confronts
her with the discovery by asking Lynn if in fact, she is making these long distance personal telephone
calls. Lynn answers, yes . Wjat is so terrible about my using the phone anyway?

Question:

How do you think her manager should respond?

a. Ignore the situation altogether.

b. Excuse her.

c. Tell her that she can use the phone only in an emergency.

d. Tell her that what she is doing is theft.

Make your choice and explain.

Answer

C. Tell her that she can use the phone only if there's an emergency.

When the assistant is using the phone atleast once a week, it may
disturb the ongoing operations or the things that should be done in the
office
