vii. Introduction:
ERI as the name suggests facilitates exploration of self. The course facilitates exploration of the
meaning an individual ascribes to ones’ life and experiences. It is assumed that it is possible to find
alternative meanings and free oneself from habitual ways of looking and meaning making. This
process of sense making enables one to explore alternative relevant ways to relate to the world
and improve interpersonal effectiveness.

1. To become aware of oneself as a person and one’s impact on the world
2. To develop skills in interpersonal effectiveness

ix. Pedagogy:
The course follows T-group methodology and process work principles. It is designed as a micro-lab
and is offered in the form of a workshop. Experts in the methodology are invited for co-facilitation.
x. Evaluation Pattern:

Note:
i. Weightage for CP should not exceed 25 per cent which may include
weightage for attendance not more than 10 per cent.
ii. The weightage of components related to individual assessment shall not
be less than 50%.
iii. There will be minimum three evaluation components for any core or
elective course having credit of 1 or more.

xii. Session Plan:


The course is offered in the form of a workshop. Facilitators with expertise the methodology are
invited for co-facilitation of micro-labs. In addition to intense small and large group discussions,
experiential exercises are used to achieve course objectives.

The course builds on the knowledge gained by PGP students through their core course on
Organizational Behaviour. This course would be useful for students who wish to continue their
journey into the self and interpersonal in a deeper manner and understand the complexities
related to human behaviour in groups.
