D. QUALITY OBSERVATIONS:

1. Improper Material Storage for Glazing Panels:

a. Glass panels should be secured from both sides to prevent sliding and/or falling by the wayside.
b. It is also a best practice to secure the panels to the A frame with a ratchet strap.
c. The storage area has to be cordoned off physically with signage

2. Unprotected storage for AHU at Level 05

a. It is advisable to relocate the AHU away from the access route to avert any incidental collision during
general manual material shifting.
b. Identify a good location to store the MEP equipment preferably distant from general access and egress
c. Provide physical barriers and signage

E. SAFETY OBSERVATIONS:

1. Combustible materials i.e. wood, cartons accumulating in typical floors particularly in GF heightens fire load
and fire risk hence to be removed immediately from site.

2. Manual Handling training to be provided for the workers especially on the night shift as the concreting in
lower levels are mostly done by concrete buckets and skips due to access contraints.

3. General external periphery and internal illumination at site needs to improve.

F. GOOD PRACTICE

1. Concrete cube sampling and testing for the screed performed as per standard
