Task part 2

Effective of presentation were that my points were concise and relevant to the audience.
Feedback from the audience was that my appearance and manner were excellent. Also the content
of the presentation was organized logically and was communicated effectively. The delivers of the
presentation held the interest of the audience and they found that power-point slides were relevant
and accurate.

Feedback suggested that I could have spoken a little louder in some parts of the presentation in
other parts I could have asked the audience some questions to check if they wanted to hear more
detail. These were the only things that feedback suggested was ineffective /had room for
improvement.

Strategies for improvement include using diagrams and display information which the audience may
be interested in seeing. Maintaining eye contact with sections of the audience for longer than I was
doing. Having extra questions to ask the audience to confirm their understand and to draw out some
of their own personal experiences.

 Manage your emotions ( overcome shyness, embarrassment, fear – otherwise these adversely
affect your communication)

 Know your material (rehearse, study materials, anticipate audience questions, be answer them)

 Check for understanding by techniques
