On behalf of the Filipino- English Ambassadors Language and Literature
Society (FEALLTS Club), we would like to request your good office to conduct a
webinar on Let’s Check In: Hearing the Voice of the Students A Response in the New
Normal for Academic Year 2021-2022”. The event is scheduled on September 8
2021, from 9:00 AM in Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, Tagudin Campus,
Tagudin Ilocos Sur Via Zoom Teleconferencing. The General Objectives of this
webinar is to increase students’ awareness about the mental health continuum,
reduce stigma associated with mental illness, promote help seeking behaviors and
emotional well-being practices, and prevent suicide through individual education and
outreach events. These are the specific objectives of the webinar: 1. To provide the
students of the College of Teacher Education an overview of new Normal Education
regarding mental health; 2. To prepare students to shift them to the opening of the
academic year 2021-2022; 3. To instill in the minds of the students of the college the
importance of understanding the new normal education particularly along the
modalities to be aware of; 4. To awaken the consciousness of the students of the
college of the importance of keeping abreast with the changes of the times most
specifically with regards to new normal education.
Our goal is to help the students to prepare them for the academic year
2021-2022 in shifting the mode of modalities of learning. Thank you and God bless.
